Great makeover on the MIGDET, Mom"s smile while driving PRICELESS. She is so lucky to have a daughter and son-in-law like you two.
I love this! Making your momma happy is priceless! I moved to Texas in order to escape the harsh winters of Minnesota and my wife and I chose a house that had enough rooms to dedicate one for my mother, but she never had the chance to see it because she didn’t make it out of surgery for her heart. I miss my mom very much and seeing someone put this kind of effort into making their mother happy just makes me feel happy. Bless you all and keep doing what you’re doing!
Hot momma. Good for her.
Great job! I'd leave the misspelling as a conversation starter!!!😆
Beautiful!! Great size. Great looks. Some dangerous curves! The car isn't bad either. Tell your mom there's a long line of us saying she is gorgeous!
Yup!
Hahahahah too good 😅
😂right...they know what they're doing lol
Great job, car looks great thanks for the videos.❤
Nice job on the MG, guys.
On a side note, I see where Emily gets her looks Your mom is beautiful❤❤❤
You guy's have made your momma so happy. She is going to be cruising town and picking up men in no time. Lol
Seeing Emily with her mom makes me miss my own mom so much. She’s been gone since 99, and in the blink of an eye I’m just 12 years younger than her age when she left.
I FOR SURE would leave it. It would be a great conversation piece when people stop Mom at the gas station or grocery store parking lot saying a what a cool car to see if they notice it. When someone does she has a great story to tell.
Mad respect for mom for keeping that British nightmare running well enough to handle the weight of that new paint.
MIGDET....great conversation piece...leave it because you embrace your imperfections.
The family working and laughing together is worth more then money can ever buy, I loved this video ❤️
luv the EDGIT..m make over.. and mom"s smile and little clapping excitement is PRICELESS.🎉😅😂
Shop lunch. Pop tarts and cheese crackers. Sometimes beef jerky. Something about eating hot food when you are sweating in the garage.
Gotta get one of those novelty giant windup keys that suction cup to the trunk lid 😅
Mama is so happy and that makes it worth the watch thank you guys for letting us hang out and enjoy the content🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊😊
Well the car looks awesome, and you mom looks very happy, so good job. 1 more thing I would leave the D and the G where they are makes the car unique. ❤👍👍👍👍
The MG looks great! I think that the green was a good choice and makes the car look so much better. I was a pretty good DIY mechanic in my day but painter...not so much. I did get better but the "after pain" work was not cost effective. The strangest paint technique I ever saw was in the early sixties. A buddy and I were swapping out a carb/manifold setup on his car in a closed auto dealership garage. A few stalls down a guy pulled a 1956 Pontiac in and using a piece of metal window blind and some kind of grease proceeded to "mask" the chrome of the entire car except for the windows, grill and tires. we just laughed it off and continued our work. A few hours later he returned and wiped off the grease and hosed down the car. We walked over to look at it and were amazed at how great it looked. The paint job looked fantastic! We saw other cars he painted and they were all beautiful. Really strange though.
Migdet done, time to get back to the 57.
Oh look it's easy to reverse the d and the g.
How cool is that! Y'all just made Emily's mom one happy lady with all the effort to recondition this little roadster, and that's a huge statement about looking after family! Her smile is priceless when she is driving this car, and that makes me happy as a viewer of your channel. God bless you all!
Your mom is so beautiful. Love seeing her work on her own car which is priceless. Thank you so much for sharing.
It’s an MG so it’s got a Bonnet, Boot, Wings and Sills, trunks are what you wear when swimming 🤣🤣🏴🏴
It has to be said Emily your mom is gorgeous
She sure as heck is!!
i love how you guys are not afraid to experiment with various tasks. It shows the rest of us that we do not have to be scared of trying something new. It is also great that you had Mom in there helping with this project. It is definetaly something for all of y'all to be proud of. Y'all are awesome, keep up the great work!!!!
I have to guve to Erin, his patience is amazing 👏, i would be going crazy!!!😢 love & mom helping is way Kool, luv it
He’s a SAINT!!! When people say ‘you’re so lucky’ he’s like… you should try it sometime… lol 😅
I am biased, as a fan of British sportscars, Triumph though. It is always awesome to see a machine back on the road. And given how large your mom's smile it is. That machine makes your mom very happy. And that is priceless.
That’s smile on your moms face when she’s driving is priceless! Family is everything! Well put!
It is beatyful in many ways, lovely smiles!
Great show today!
Y'all can be so funny at times, and Em's momma is quite a good lookin' lady. 😊 Her smile and twinkling eyes are very sensual 😮❤
Y'all take good care of one another, and I really hope that y'all have yourselves a beautiful day.
✌️😎👍
I like the Candy apple green with a silver undercoat with extra flake in it. but my favorite is Midnight Blue Pearl with gold stripes "beautiful"
Watching you all work on the MG reminds me of the time that I spent polishing cars getting rid of the oxidation. I did a couple of family cars, and two of mine.
My then wife couldn't understand why I wanted to spend hours rubbing on a car. I worked on a small part of the hood. She was surprised at the difference that it made. Then she was dumbfounded that I spent an entire weekend doing that one thing all day long, that is until people commented on how nice the car looked.
Typically I used to levels of rubbing compound, 1 polishing compound, then finally wax. Oh, all by hand. And lots and lots of really soft towels, long before microfiber.
Worth every minute.
Embrace the good enough. Thats something I need to learn. Thank you for those words of wisdom. My 3 projects just got closer to being finished. Love your content, keep up the good work.
You guys are awesome I love watching your shows when you got family and and you know it's just you guys are so humble and sweet and I love you and Keep On Keepin On and and keep on bringing out them videos
Aaron and Emily, Bad Chad does single stage and shoots it at 70 PSI through cheap guns. He gets phenomenal results with no cut and buff!
The car looks absolutely beautiful!
Just to see the smile on Momma's face is priceless! She's the sweetest lady, EVER! ;-)
I have to warn her, everywhere she will go with that car people are going to try to buy it off of her.
Fantastic job guys! Well done!
Our Spring makeover for Dandy was so fun!!
Thank you Aaron and Em 🤗🤗💚
And to all of you for your helpful and kind comments💚
I feel grateful for our connection here💚
It’s a beautiful new day out there and I think it’s time for Dandy and I to go for a spin!!
Cathy you and Dandy look real good together, definitely time for a spin :). You guys did a great job on her. Amazing what 3 sets of hands can accomplish.. oops 4 I almost forgot about the little ones help :)
Congratulations Cathy, Em and Aaron. It looks great. I look forward to updates on the MG.
tell mama to use Pledge furniture polish on the plastic convertible windows will clear them up. we used it every day after fishing in ocean and washing boat
family is everything,well said.
Perfect timing guys just shot a yellow nova with summit yellow and need to wetsand it. And pizza is the correct answer for shop food in my opinion
I can't believe how different the MG looks, it is absolutely cute as a bug. There's no doubt your Mom is very happy and proud of her car. You can't beat that smile on her face. So nice of you and Aaron to do that for her.
Yep, at 54:02, I was thinking, that ain't right. I was going to comment, but then at the end you caught it!! Love the look of the MG! I'm 71 years old, live in Ohio, and I loved the 64' & 65 MG MIDGETS when I was a teenager.
You all make this look so easy . I'd burn through that pain . Would love some flying sparks Garage painting help hands on teaching for my classic glastron boat . I am having a hard time getting it back together after bladder cancer. Thank you for the cool videos
It is like the snicker commercial...."Regerts". I say leave it as is 😉. Excellent restoration by the way.
Your Mom is beautiful. I can see where you got your good looks and happy personality.
Great Job Guys!!! The Car looks a Million Times better! You Kids did Awesome! lol!
At the 54:00 point of the video, I noticed "MIGDET" instead of "MIDGET" but I was not going to say anything. As your mother drove down the road, it crossed my mind to enjoy your mother as long as you can. My mother left this earth a few years ago. By the way, I am twice your age.
Great video! You make so many things approachable. Lunch in the shop is usually leftovers or a sandwich.
Top budgt restauration, fun seeing the fam work at it and doing it together!
Yall have done an amazing job with this car, can't wait to see the 57 and the kids truck when they get done., I know they will be amazing as well
Looking fantastic!!
One other suggestion is to buff the tailite lenses with the buffer and your final stage compound.
She turned out so good!!!!! One of my favorite videos to date!
What a tough woman. She absolutely enjoyed the whole process. I can see her helping The Kid on her truck. I see Finley changing oil next month. Man that car is perfect now. Happy wheel'n Mom.
Yayyyy!! An hour to keep me company at work! This is like a big cup of coffee on a crisp cool morning.
what a great vibe you are transmitting, coming from a family where people fight all the time you guys are just perfect
You guys bring back many memories of me doing exactly what you are doing. I love you video's keep up the great presentations. Jim 81' Rio Vista, CA Yep, families are forever.
I was so confused with D and G being backwards. Lol great video. The “Migdet” looks awesome!
Thank you for cleaning the top. It was driving me nuts. Lol
I really love y'alls videos. It's great that you take such great care of your Mom. We're the same way here in South East Louisiana.
It’s cool your mom got to jump in and help out but she cracks me up. ❤
Best family video I've ever watched!!
So many vehicles that need to be on shirts for me to get!
Excellent moms happy enough said!!!!
Looks great and Momma is smiling ear to ear ;)
E&A, nice job on the paint. I had an MG Midget in college & did a rattle can paint job on it. Rusted out all along the bottom. Bondo, primer, rattle can spray. Certainly not a show car, yet I got some honest compliments on it.
Just want to say thank you for this episode. Just good feels and fun watching. You guys always do a great job because it’s authentic. ❤
Sure appreciate that!!
@ClickOnMyProfile462 STOP SCAMMING OUR PEOPLE YOU PIECE OF SHIT
What a great project . You mom got right in there and helped . She is such a hoot. Emily and her mom are so funny together.
Got to fix that gas gauge. I noticed that a few u- tubers do not fix gas gauges! 🤣😂🤪. Beautiful job, I keep my yap shut about one shot paint from summit. I love it, reduce, add fish eye and 2 coats, comes out awesome. I’ve had guys say, why two coats? Well I did back when and it came out awesome. Yes I reduce a lot. 😊❤
Looks great!
MG's were built for beautiful mother daughter rides like yours. What an awesome episode.
i love the summit paint its all i use love you guys videos
We sure do appreciate that!!! 🧡🧡🧡
I think Mom needs to be in more episodes!
I did my 1970 Jeep a frame off restoration. Painted last summer with a flattened single stage. It was my first paint job.
It was like my final stage but it still always needs fixing but your ideas are great.
That Midget is very pretty now. Looks great.. Those cars are worth their weight in Gold. And your MAMA is worth more..
Enjoy making those memories with your mom. I sure miss the days of working on this with my dad.
To share this with your mum is priceless ❤️
Beautiful job!!! Real team effort!!
Two Beauties together Enjoy Mom great job guys .
That's the way to kick copious amounts of butt. Terrific job. Even got the mama involved. Good stuff guys😊
"Now Biff, don't con me..."
"I mean I'm just *starting* on the 1500 grit."
Single stage plan color isn't too hard to spray, but the metallics make it a challenge. Often people will mix in clear on the last coat... which sort-of defeats the purpose of single stage. But any garage spray is going to require cut and buff. Now what sucks is sometimes when you do it as soon as you did, some sanding scratches will show up later on after buffing as the paint cures.
That is one heck of a transition. I am super impressed with how that paint laid down. I think I may look into those paints for painting bodies on the guitars I build. I recently picked up a small compressor and a new gun to try out rather than doing it all with an airbrush as I have in the past since I am just starting out.
I like my fish cooked, so maybe deep fried white fish and chips.
Hamburger is my go to meal for the shop number two is pizza.
You guys are such good teachers. I love seeing you share the experiences with your family. Tell everyone I said hi!
♥️♥️♥️ love you bud!!
Excellent! A "Green" car without a plug!
Love watching you guys work together. You’re such a lovely couple.
What a difference! Looks great!
Great job guys! Mom’s gonna get a lot of smiles per mile in that fun car. Glad you tried out this paint for us all. I did not know Summit had that inexpensive paint line like that. Will keep that in mind for future projects off my own.
Everybody have a great day within the shop
This video gave me a flood of memories of a neighbour of mine, when I was a kid, who had an MG, a little black, beetle-y backed thing which I used to think was really, really cool. Haven't thought about that in years!!
What a blessing. Loved the makeover. Your mom is blessed by you two.
Love the color, try using Mothers Back-to-Black Trim and Plastic Restorer on the lenses, they will look brand new.
wrap your paper around a Wet dish sponge for those odd shaped area's.. works amazingly .. Nice Work Aaron and Emily and "Momma"... looks great. i'm glad y'all show both the good results as well as the Not , and what it takes to correct it.. it Happens to the Best of us..
Man it looks great y’all! One suggestion for the clear plastics, eisen glass, is to spray off well with ow setting on pressure washer, then use microfiber cloths amd it will stay clear, those paper towels are lightly sanding it.....great looking little ports car.
I grew up with my dad doing that for a living!! He tried to teach me. I didn't want to do it. I still learned and now how to do it. It is something you want to do or enjoy doing.
The midget looks so good bless you guys for making your mom so happy can't wait to see what next.
@ClickOnMyProfile462 thank you
@ClickOnMyProfile462is this Emily
Great job! Your Mom has a sweet ride now. First migdet I have ever seen.
Miss Cassie finally gets the MG she deserves. A Beautiful car for a BEAUTIFUL young lady.
I was worried when I could see the imperfections on video from a distance... "Mom" was being enthusiastic, me not so much. You guys pulled it off... Looks awesome. GOOD JOB.
Probably a little engine wipe down, a little psst psst trunk paint, wheel wells, etc - a few details with the interior work will look awesome. Good job! Lookin good mom!!
Thanks for the explanations and education! One of your better vids, in my book.
And thanks to the editor for keeping the music volume down to a comfortable level. It’s much more enjoyable this way.
