Northern Tour Day 3/4 Loch Lomond, Inchconnachan Island in the Honwave T38 ie2 sib

Here we have a video of our Northern tour spring 2023 here we are staying at Luss camp site with the sib and go out on Loch Lomond and have lunch on Inchconnachan Island . Lomond is a lovely place for boating of all sorts

Yes I am typing this from Taynault pier on Loch Etive. Hope to launch at about 9.00 am which is almost high water. We have been keeping and eye out for Sir D but not seen him yet. We have however seen the Otters at the pier

Hi, do you have insurance for the sib ? I’m stopping at luss campsite and wanted to get my sib registered with the Loch Lomond authorities but the campsite are asking for insurance. I’m not sure if it’s possible to insure a small inflatable.

Yes SIBs can and should be insured. If you have a larger boat that is insured often tenders are covered under the policy. All you have to do is mark the sib as Tender to …………… if not Craft insure (Google that name) will insure instantly online on their web site. Not sure of the cost. Did the Luss site try to charge you for the sib
