Bandages have been removed! My first look at the mastectomy scars...

- Whew! It has been quite a week. Bandages were removed yesterday and I finally mustered up the courage to look at the scars today. Because everyone loves drama and emotional moments, I recorded it for your viewing pleasure (and so that you can see an honest portrayal of the first impressions). I realize that everyone's experiences are very different, and I was very fortunate in the minimal scarring (and that I was able to keep my nipples). What was it like seeing yourself for the first time after the surgery? Or first impressions of the whole situation?
