I had my double mastectomy today!

- After having been diagnosed with cancer two months ago and after heavy consideration about options, I decided that a double mastectomy was the best way to go to remove the cancer and reduce the likelihood of recurrence. Well, today I had that surgery! I'm a bit woozy because of the pain pills, but here to share with you my experiences anyway. #breastcancer #breastcancersurvivor #doublemastectomy #mastectomy
Hope your healing and recovery is progressing smoothly. I am one week post surgery and dealing with numbness in the armpits and working on range of movement in the right arm. All the best ❤

I always get anti anxiety meds before surgery, I'm a wreck.
That's super smart! I've had friends do that if they get a lot of anxiety and that helped them a lot.
