R2’s droid type is meant to assist you at home needs and repairing. BB’s droid type was made for repairing ships and flying in them. BB is smaller so he can’t have extra arms and stuff, he is also supposed to go faster because his type is supposed to be used to being on a battle field. That is why he is smaller, gives him more of a chance not to get shot
At the end of the movie Polar Express only the boy can hear the bell. Clearly you two can hear it. My hope and wish for you is that you will always hear it. Your joy is uplifting. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Keep up the great work!
The direction your droid is facing (the side of the head that lights-up) is forward. Then use the forward and back arrows to move forward or backwards. It doesn't go sideways, you have to turn the head and then go forward or backwards. The red, rectangle can be used to turn the head, or the left and right buttons underneath the rectangle. Line-up your red arrows on the base pieces when you connect them and there are two magnets in the head, so when you put the head on top move it around to make sure both sets of magnets connect. LOL, my husband, Dan, is rolling his around right now!

Maybe he’ll be less wobbly on some grass, that’s was seems different to me from the droids, the r2 seems more for flat surface or inside homes with tile floors, and bb droids for thick carpet or almost grassy terrains

Whenever I go down there I'm gonna make a R2 unit simply because I grew up on that droid and he's always been my favorite! I'd use a clear Orange head with body being Orange with red legs. And I'd use the black parts to fill in where his tools would while building him. Then get some black decals to put on him and a rebel personality chip. Glad she finally got to build her droid, as always these videos are amazing, keep up the good work!

This is the most amazing thing! If you look back to the video of when you guys built your R2 and pay attention to the people who were building droids next to you! The person on the left chose the same head that you guys did for your BB and then the person on the right chose the same body! It's totally fate!!
New batteries helped reduce the rocking. Also whichever way Bb’s head points is forward or up arrow. Pressing the left/right side of the large red button will rotate the head. You can put felt dots on the bottom of BB’s head to reduce scratching but it will also slow it down.
By the way the reason why I was so wobbly is because the base that you put in there as you could see the head was kind of tilted towards the side that’s not a good sign you need to move the base a little bit just saying no hate thank you for the video I love your content by the way

The color and style you went with would be my choice as well. Did I see a red arrow on the top and bottom halves and should they line up? Maybe that would help with stability and the clunky rolling noises, then again maybe not? Love your vids! 👽
I got a BB. Blue case, purple dome head. Yellow Resistance chip. I totally love her! At first, I agreed that I felt stiffed by the lack of stuff to upgrade with. But if you think about it, there's not much to tweak. Anything that you put on the body, WILL get scraped as you play with it. Any stickers will eventually become a problem if it pulls off even a little it might make the head pop off.
I wonder if that particular head with the extra height of the "eye" on top makes your BB a little more top heavy than say the other lower flat head or dome? My son got one of those expensive BB-8's when TFA first came out and it also "lost it's head from time to time, but it looked more stable than your BB as far as wobbling goes. They must use super magnets on the movie BBs... Oops, what I meant to say was, "So Adorable!!!!" LOL! I like your apartment, maybe some day you'll do a do a OA on that? I want to see you guys' collection. It's "curious", not "nosy"...or is there a difference?

When i built my droid in Orlando they really pushed buying the personality chip and accessorizes at the same time as the droid so you could do it all at the same time.
Buy the Spin Master brand for excellent moving.. But it's only available for BB8 unit . The orange N white colors. You can play it for 1 hour... Has lights N sounds ...can follow you also. Have a try...
