- In todays video we visited Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland to build our very first droid at droid depot. I filmed my whole experience lf building my first droid and also showed a few funny interactions with the droid and a couple of stormtroopers who were patrolling Batuu. Oh this looks so good how can I wait to build a Nindroid also one that I will go to Disneyland and I am building a chopper for sure because I really like Star Wars Rebels but it looks blue to me

This is such a cool thing to do. I was going to build an R2D2 just before the park closed. When I visited the park this past October I would have had to buy a ticket for the droids plane ride home. 🙃 🤣

They ship home for around $20 so you don't have to fly it . And replaced if anything has a problem

R-Series accessories are compatible with the C-Series. Also, the Personality Chips can be used with all 3 types of Astromech Droids.

@@PaulMayorga No problem. There are ports inside the other doors on the C-Series and R-Series Droids’ bodies, and panels on the C-Series legs can be removed to use the Blasters and Boosters for R-Series Droids.

@@PaulMayorga I had bought a personality. At that time I had not liked the add-ons to the Droid otherwise. Lately they've come out with some cooler add-ons I'm thinking of getting to add.

How cool 😃 Now I can see why people like building these. I feel tempted to do this on my trip to Disneyland in August. I wonder if they are ok to take on a plane. On our trip in 2019 flying back to New Zealand TSA confiscated our Coke "bomb" drink bottles from Galaxy's Edge. I bet you had fun with your son bringing this guy home 🥰
Im not reeally sure if its ok to take on a plane but if youre able to definitely build one lol. And wow i didnt know the sodas detonators werent allowed on the plane

Do you need to make a reservation in order to build your own? And also what are the hours for the droid depot?
Not for the droid building and i think the hours are the same as the park times
Okay, I am confused. @3:27 you say they give you two options for the head, yet the screen indicates 5 options?
I filmed this a long time ago but i think theres only two head options when making c series droid
While there are only two C-Series styles to choose from, the R-Series heads are compatible, that’s what was being shown.
Dude!, I've been trying to get friends/family to get me a legacy saber but they keep getting wiped out before they arrive. Is there a number you can call to check inventory before you show up? I'm thinking of making a pit stop to downtown Disney on the way to SDCC to pick one up. It's so freakin hit and miss 🙄

The C series definitely moves around better in Batuu than the R series. Our little droid kept getting stuck in that textured floor. Poor little guy was struggling. The interactions were hilarious. You sold out Nick in a hot second, dang! 🤣 Loved it! 👏

Same as you on the BB series, didn't like it the first time I saw it. I'm team R2D2! LOL However, watching it on here, the little bugger seems to be able to grow on you. LOL So n ow I want them both! But can only afford one, so it's going to be the R series. Just not surprisingly R2 himself as I have so many R2s of different heights and abilities that I must confess don't work.

Hi Paul, this is Robin, thank you for this video, my husband Mike has been encouraging me for months to build a droid. After watching your video, I think I will build one next week when we are at Disneyland. It looks like a lot of fun and not as intimidating as I thought.
