The tone and pauses for Joey are awesome, Connor and Garnt also match but it's so hard to even do one person right yet y'all even bring up people for guests. Seriously though, people who harass and send death threats to the studio and their creators for something they didn't like are seriously immature and ignorant. Try offering actual constructive criticism instead, to help them do better in future projects.
Ive just been in a discussion with someone on twitter who was calling out a youtuber because they found it annoying then the youtuber told them they made a mistake and it was right, but the person who was calling it out muted them because they didn't expected a response. Bottom line: A lot of folks who always critique and complain about everything don't do it to improve or fix something, they just do it to cause trouble and misery.
People who also harass people and send death threats to fans who like a show don't deserve anime at all. It's so weird when you see people complain/whine all the time about an anime or the characters and then continue to watch it. Then they like say "you can criticize the things you watch" when they only say negative stuff about it. And I don't mean they say genuine criticisms like "the plot could be better because ____ but the art was good" but they say things like "it sucks", "I hate this", or they call people p3dos, or tell people "kys". Like it's just an anime.

i feel like its not expanded world at all because from the very beginning of the pilot, the plot has been: There are big WALLS with a mysterious dangerous World Beyond Them. So from day one the viewer is intentionally left wondering about the world outside the walls, and when they finally reveal "this is an island and its not very big and theres essentially NOTHING else on the island." then "outside the walls" defaulted to "across the ocean" i think i would feel differently if there was actually other locations on the island, outside the wall, and we had spent a couple seasons dealing with plot in those areas. but that didnt happen. theres just the walls, and the people across the ocean. nothing in between.

They were selling Eroge's poorly. They work because of the context of the situation, it feels like you know who the characters are because you've spent time with them. They aren't like just some actors that you only see fucking on screen. They have personalities that you spent time with and that's why it feels "earned" when the H-scenes happen, heck that's the sole reason why Doujinshi's exist, to see characters that they've already spent time with fuck.
1:21:49 - On my last day in Tokyo, I got lost in Shinjuku station for literally 45 mins trying to find the right letter exit and basically walked from one end to another and wound up looking for the next letter/number down only to resurface on the other side of town. Had to manually run and I mean RUN to my hotel to pick up my luggage and ran into rush hour. If not for getting lost, I would of avoided it and as a result, I ALMOST missed my flight - gates nearly shut of me when I showed up.

Yeah, the whole show was setup for the reveal. It wasn't just a last minute write-in.
I believe it was planned all along, there's a lot of foreshadowing about the existence of the outside world in the very first season.
i feel like its not expanded world at all because from the very beginning of the pilot, the plot has been: There are big WALLS with a mysterious dangerous World Beyond Them. So from day one the viewer is intentionally left wondering about the world outside the walls, and when they finally reveal "this is an island and its not very big and theres essentially NOTHING else on the island." then "outside the walls" defaulted to "across the ocean"
i think i would feel differently if there was actually other locations on the island, outside the wall, and we had spent a couple seasons dealing with plot in those areas. but that didnt happen. theres just the walls, and the people across the ocean. nothing in between.
I mean the colossal and armored titan had to come from somewhere. so the author didn’t loop it into the story, it’s been there from the very beginning

They were selling Eroge's poorly. They work because of the context of the situation, it feels like you know who the characters are because you've spent time with them. They aren't like just some actors that you only see fucking on screen. They have personalities that you spent time with and that's why it feels "earned" when the H-scenes happen, heck that's the sole reason why Doujinshi's exist, to see characters that they've already spent time with fuck.
I re watch these episodes all the time at work and have for years while always checking comments. You said it best brother

1:21:49 - On my last day in Tokyo, I got lost in Shinjuku station for literally 45 mins trying to find the right letter exit and basically walked from one end to another and wound up looking for the next letter/number down only to resurface on the other side of town. Had to manually run and I mean RUN to my hotel to pick up my luggage and ran into rush hour. If not for getting lost, I would of avoided it and as a result, I ALMOST missed my flight - gates nearly shut of me when I showed up.
