In South America they have a particularly fervent following, because they’re remembered for their record breaking concerts there from 1988 to 1994, especially Rock in Rio 1991. They were dismissed as teenage sex symbols and their music trivial pop, by the music critics in the 80s., this frustrated the band as their music defies categorising. They have stood the test of time, some of their music is pop, but most of it is deeper, darker and resonates with their audiences who have followed them for almost 35 years. The fact that audiences still react the way they do , to men who are now in middle age...Morten turned 60 this year, is testimony to their enduring talent . The affection that the fans hold them in is reciprocated by the band who are always kind and appreciative .
