Plus after this Gru punches a shark and it is paralyzed meaning its spine is probably shattered, to remind you it would require a force greater than 3,000 newtons to fracture the spine. The concept of 3D sonic is a great idea, and I feel like the adventure style executed the concepts very well, anything that's outside of the adventure style doesn't stick so well and can be very hit or miss. I believe if they just stick to one idea (referring to the adventure style) and kept going with it, everyone will eventually find their place with 3D sonic.

I’ve spent a really long time playing this game before and I could NEVER get crimson carnival S rank, so I couldn’t get the final level, I did complete episode Dru completely (not all S rank though) and getting that S rank is definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever faced in the game
Yo, Pyrite Adventure? I didn't think I'd ever hear anyone talk about that one. To answer the question, I think if I'm being honest, 2D Sonic is better, but I still kinda prefer 3D Sonic. I just feel like in terms of overall quality, 3D Sonic games haven't quite reached the same level that the sidescrolling entries did yet. I don't think it's impossible for them to get there, however unlikely it may seem right now. At this point I can only hope that someday we get the definitive 3D Sonic game, one that actually captures the magic that we've repeatedly seen brief flashes of in previous titles. Until we get some kind of announcement though, I remain skeptical of whatever comes next.
