I have a bad feeling that a depressingly large number of Americans don’t even realise Tesla is an American company...
Unfortunately many Americans consider the tesla brand as something pushing their American fracted oil gas powered into a corner.
Would they feel the same if fracking wasn't done and the only oil came from the middle east with higher prices at the pump?

But Tesla does not build a true SUV...........If the car has ZERO off road ability, It is not a True SUV in My opinion.........Also there are no Dealers where I live so that I may take a test drive or do a trade in...........In fact, In Southern Iowa where I live there are NO dealers with ANY electric cars in the Showroom where I may have a look see or a test ride............Paul
Yeah, and I wish Australians would get more patriotic about Aussie coal, gas, wind and solar that powers electric cars, instead of associating Middle East oil as 'Aussie', which is kinda ironic, if you think about it, and unfortunately doesn't say much for some people's intelligence in this country.

I do like to support the economy that supports me, and I’ve scratched the Mach-e off my list of potential EV choices.
Most of my American friends drive non American passenger brands like Hyundai or Nissan because their home brands of passenger vehicles excluding pickups from Ford, GM and Chrysler for years built mediocre passenger vehicles that are inferior to Japanese or Korean brand vehicles. I'm ready to buy a BYD passenger EV when the order books open this Thursday and buy what I can afford or what I deem is good value for money. Politics plays not part in my decision making process. So if you have a political comment about BYD or my choice please keep it to yourself and respect my decision to be able buy what I want to just like I would respect your choice of what you wish to purchase.

One of the constant criticism of meyellow ICE-friends in Germany are the enormous environmental problems to be expected from EV-batteries. Have you looked into this yet, and what is your take on this?

Great content. Tesla is only going to get better at making everything in house. Not only will this give them all if the control but it will make them recession-proof.
How does that make them “recession-proof”? If their customers lose their jobs and/or disposable income, their sales will suffer.
@@rzu7120 By owning the entire production, their margins will be so huge that they’ll be able to drop prices. Their competition will not be able to do the same.
