Thanks for the tour and the old school content. 1. Knew when you said chains Waffle House would be there, and you led off with it. 3. Hardees on the east coast is the same chain as Carl's Jr. on the west. Carl's bought them in 1997 but kept the name basically because they wanted the brand recognition. 4a. The "Wisconsin melt" is your basic "patty melt," just branded. 4b. More suspicion to camera than gun: Welcome to America, especially the South. It's very much ingrained in our culture (guns). 6. You absolutely nailed the Southern accent. 11/10, would listen to again. 7. You kept eating the corn dog after the food poisoning thought? Wouldn't have myself, but I can see an attitude of "not letting it go to waste." 9. Dairy Queens being "ghetto" is pretty much universal I've found. 10. Another spot on comment (Red Lobster being the seafood version of TGI Friday's).
My heart sank when you walked into Culver's and didn't get custard icecream or their cheese curds. It also blew my mind that you went to Red Lobster and your server didn't give you cheese biscuits. Overall my wife and I enjoyed the video!

Anyway, take care of yourself, and Happy New Year!!!!
I miss the gravy. My husband is so weird about chicken fried steak. He only wants it without the gravy... And I don't feel like making it just for me. I'd end up with gravy for days. And he's Southern too. I'm ashamed. 🙄
OMG, I can't believe he went to Peachtree City! PTC is one of those "pre-planned" cities. It has miles of golf cart paths and people can drive their golf carts to all the stores and pretty much anywhere in the town. It is super expensive to buy a home there and lots of rich people, actors, etc., live there. It's very near Senoia, GA which is where they filmed the Living Dead and many other shows as well as movies.

@@corssecurity indeed she’s discovering all the great places around here since moving. I’d really like to have the Beard visit, maybe do a Colab with Katina and Randy
First Culver’s was in Sauk City...
“Can i get a chicken biscuit please “ 😂😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t stop laughing it was spot on
That "American" accent was 11/10. I'd love to see what people would say if u tried that at home😄
Second that , still laughing 👍🤣😁
Uncanny wasn’t it
It was impressive. I was getting ready to laugh at how bad it was, and he broke out some legit American talk on us.
It was absolutely awesome
You got to have mrs. Beard on these All day & 24-hour meetings videos. Extra commentary that's hilarious also.. love the channel watch three or four a day I maybe I'll catch up.
The country accent was really funny Adam, you nailed it. Welcome back to the states. Hope you're having fun. Arby's has the best onion rings and cheese sticks. Try them Adam, you'll be glad you did.
As someone RVing full time, Cracker Barrel can be a really fun overnight for us with dedicated parking and of course, that carb bomb menu :)
The southern accent killed me hahaha I could understand you way easier too which was hilarious. Glad you got to try some of our fine establishments and see why so many people are overweight. I try to keep my fast food outings to once a week which is probably still too much.
Adam, as a Brit in the South this is basically my experience, right down to incomprehensible drive-thru interactions. Great video!
😂😂
7 years of my childhood was spent in TX, that's where I learned English and I still don't know what they said😂
I can't stop watching this guy eat food!
Another great one Beard but missed opportunity while you were on your bisquit kick. Red Lobsters Chedder Bay biscuits are pretty DELICIOUS.
Beat me to it 😒
It has been quite a while since I have been, but didn’t they automatically bring them to the table?
@@mistressblush4233 I don't know actually it has been while for me as well.
Cheddar Bay biscuits are god tier 😋🙌
They're so good! If Beard didn't get any he should go back and complain hahaha
Being from Wisconsin I was sorry to hear that you weren't crazy about the Culver's sandwich. Next time I would recommend you try a Butter Burger and some deep fried cheese curds! Love your videos!
I'm in Austin, and an a Brit and we have a Culver's and I was literally yelling at him to get the cheese curds. Man I should go get some Culver's sometime soon
I thought the same thing I was screaming like no way !!!! One of my favorite is the shrimp 🍤 basket sheesh !!!! I almost fainted when he said Arby’s was good , they are trash
@@Unlaced_kickz arby’s is 🔥... culver’s is obviously garbage. this is video proof!
Im from Wisco as well. Love me some Culver's! Especially the bacon butter burger.
My go to meal when eating at culvers!
Love these videos! Nice honest take on the foods trialled. Love the facial expressions … the eyebrows lift when the mouth opens up wide for a big bite😂! And it’s so refreshing that he’s not swearing and carrying on like a pork chop😂! Thanks for some great entertainment 🍽🥇🏆
I nearly wet myself laughing at you ordering with an American accent..... utterly priceless but efficient 😜
Hell's teeth though, the price of those tiddly lobster tails, gloopy pasta & an ice cream scoop of mash was highway robbery!!! Your room must've been 'pungent' the following morning with the concoction you ate! Great video Adam x
And there were no chedder bay biscuits. Paying that much, he should have at least gotten a couple baskets of those.

If cold hot dogs kill you, there should be a few million less kids
Beard: Mrs Beard would tell me to get the "Old Timers" breakfast as she says I'm old now.
Also Beard: Can I have the Grandpa's Breakfast, please?
you got me
Not quite a south-eastern accent but extremely spot on rural texas/wyoming/montana/idaho accent. Welsh, irish and northern english have a sing songiness to their accents which you find in the south east US which is different than a western cowboy accent which has a similar pace but more annunciation - think a fiddle vs a cello
I can't believe you didn't get cheese biscuits with the Red Lobster. They are killer!
The Cheddar Bay Biscuits will, indeed, murder your taste buds with sheer deliciousness.
I recently had my own British friend come visit and my American friends and myself decided to treat him to as many new treats as possible. I can say that having a local tour guide would definitely be helpful on your future excursions. I would’ve never fed you crystals! 😂
K*
I’m currently doing intermittent fasting and your videos are my new guilty pleasure! When I’m allowed to eat I enjoy it so much! Very jealous of your lifestyle! Haha
8:47 I CANT WITH THE WAY HE STUDIED IT! 🤣🤣 sandwhich for us - but not a normal deal for him.
This is my favourite video you've done yet. I believe that's because you didn't try to swallow your food like an over-zealous sea lion, plus we got to see lots of different places and different foods. The two food-related things I remember most from America are Blizzards from Dairy Queen and free re-fills at McDonald's, both of which blew my little British mind
You don't have free refills? Every fast food place pretty much has that here. Though it's better you dont.... Calories in sugar form are horrible. It's one of main reasons people become overweight!
@@irishshamrock3025 In some upmarket restaurants we get free refills on water and consider ourselves lucky!
You are right though I could not be trusted with unlimited refills on fries and drinks I'd be 300 lbs lol
‘Over-zealous sea lion’ Lol
The problem is that you picked the wrong things at Culver’s and Arby’s. I’m glad you liked the Reuben, but you need to get the double butter burger at Culver’s and the Beef and Cheddar with Arbus sauce at Arby’s.
Agreed!!
I don't know, Arby's Market Fresh sandwiches are pretty good.
no bo no the chicken sliders are better at arby’s
And horsey sauce too!
The roast beef is hit or miss. I think the real mistake was not trying curly fries at Arby's.
I freaking love your commentary, witty humour, and even the soundtrack on this video.Very enjoyable viewing. 😁
It’s good to see that Krystal is the slowest fast food everywhere you go. 😂
And here i thought the sliders were so they would cook faster or is this just a GA thing.
I verbally exclaimed " OH YEAHHH!" when I saw you liked the cracker barrel gravy! It brought warmth to my southern boy heart hahaha!
You asking if a 20 was enough for the hash browns was the most charming and endearing thing I’ve seen today.
I take it back. Minutes later you ate a country fried steak with your hands and that was endearing-er
Lol I was like...20 would leave a great tip at Cracker Barrel!!
I swear she said “it’s more, but you are good”....go back and listen
If ya go to Culver's, ya gotta get the Butter Burger... that is one of their best!!
And the fried cheese curds. I've heard they are better when you're in Wisconsin but Culver's makes them good enough for the rest of us.
@@elangomattab they have changed them, they are not as good as they were
Yeah he picked the complete wrong items. I am shocked that Culver’s is now in ATL though!!!
I agree, that's all I order at Culvers. Not being experienced, he made some bad choices. I'm not far from where he is and if it were live he could have probably heard me yelling "Noooo...dont order that!!" lol
Butter burger with a side of cheese curds!
Bojangles' fired chicken bone in is amazing. Also you missed out on the cheese biscuits at red lobster; top tier 👍
Honestly beard, you impress me more every time I watch. I think the word that perhaps best describes your eating style, is relentless.
Made my day, seeing a 34 minute video from Beard.
24 minutes more pain than usual....you get a figurative medal if you sit it all out lol
Him eating the country fried steak without it being smothered in gravy had me wanting to scream at my phone lol
omg same hahahahah when he picked it up and ate it plain i was like NOOOOOO hahahahaha
It was hurting my throat watching him eat it without the gravy.
I know right
If you “have” to eat something with sauce then it’s shit
@@annoyedgamer8847 It’s weird that you quoted ‘have’ and nowhere did I say anybody had to do anything. It’s probably fine without the gravy, it’s just a breaded and fried steak. You do seem like the type of person who would actually know what shit tastes like though so your opinion is clearly valid here.
Loved seeing all the different eating places with you. Made my day.❤❤❤
I love this! So fun to see Beard discover new parts of America. Hope you do more of these in the future!
Crackerbarrel is so damn good. I used to eat breakfast there all the time, but the whole menu is just excellent, and the vibe of the place also so inviting.
The hashbrown casserole is awesome.
Same, but its a bit pricey now...but what isn't? Lol
It's okay...
The vibe of the place reminds me of living out west in that the people were talkative, friendly, relaxed, etc. I guess that's what they are trying to go for lol.
I thought you did pretty good with the southern accent. Lol. Love seeing you trying the different places here in the US and getting your opinion on them. And I really enjoy watching your videos.
“That’s everythaaang” 😂😂
Woah!!! Beard discovered American biscuits and gravy! For awhile I thought you were going to eat the country fried steak without the gravy.
I was surprised it didn't come on top of it already lol
"gravy" "biscuits"
I remember years ago when some coworkers came in from England for the first time. They ordered biscuits and were surprised what our biscuits are. They fell in love with them and had them each day they were here.
Wonderful as always, Beard! Thanks, I needed the entertainment. My kitty of 18 years died in my arms last night. You always make things better.
I am so sorry about your kitty.
I'm so sry about your kitty, mine of 15 yrs died recently too and its rough
So very sorry for your loss 😞
@@devilinside1396 I am just lost without him. He was a big ol' ally cat that was abandoned when these people moved. He was so sick when I took him in, but he got used to me and followed me everywhere; he was just dang good company. Thanks for your response, that is really nice of you.
@@paulaolson8956 Very kind of you, thank you.
The way our Beard goes at the gravy at Cracker Barrel makes my heart sing.
This man understands food. 🍽
See Beard learned what hundreds from multiple generations already know about Krystal Burger. The only thing one can count on is disappointment.
Love that you call the establishment "Krystal Burger" I do the same and still have people make fun of me for that! Its not just Krystal...its Krystal Burger!!!

That's the name of the place isn't it?!
Jeebus! Do they call BK just "King"? 🤔
Culver's is my jam! Everything is great there and my kid and I eat there all the time. They make their own root beer and frozen custard, the vanilla malted shakes are amazing. You should have gotten some of the Wisconsin cheese sauce for dipping, it's my daughter's favorite.
I grew up in Fayetteville, where you went to Bojangles. I gotta say, you have a hidden talent with accents! You were spot on! Another great video, thanks Beard!
Watching him enjoy biscuits and gravy is priceless 😂😂😂
Best food of all time
What an Easter treat! Love the longer videos, evenings entertainment sorted! Great job as always beard!!
What a clever challenge going from restaurant to restaurant. God bless you mate!
I think its great that even when you don't particularly like what you've ordered you still eat all of it lol. That's commitment 😅😅
Wouldn't have myself, but I can see an attitude of "not letting it go to waste."
Next time hopefully he gets them and one of the butter burgers... hope he sees this!
I can't remain quiet. Adam you should have brought on a wing-person. The South if filled with the kindest, friendliest, and "God bless you're heart" folks you're ever gonna meet. Peach tree city is a great place to fill up before returning you're rental car at ATL Airport. Do this challenge again, and hit Zaxbys, Jack's, Marco's, and some good ol' down home, side of the road spots. Sure do enjoy watching your videos, but my wife thinks it's gross. Anyway, take care of yourself, and Happy New Year!!!!
Him grabbing the Arby's drink at Bojangles had me laughing lol
I don't know why I enjoy watching you eat more than eating food myself lol
It's basically eating by proxy for me. I've had a triple bypass so most of this food is off limits. Good to see someone like Adam enjoying it though!
"That was not the finest food I've ever eaten." Classic line!
HAR DEEZ 😂 & the fact you love biscuits and didnt get any cheddar bay buscuits at Red Lobster should be a CRIME 😭
This guy is great! Discovered him today and I love it when he counts the calories!
I died a little inside when he ate half of that chicken fried steak without the sausage gravy XD rookie move sir
I miss the gravy. My husband is so weird about chicken fried steak. He only wants it without the gravy... And I don't feel like making it just for me. I'd end up with gravy for days. And he's Southern too. I'm ashamed. 🙄
@@goldilox369 That's rough. The gravy is what makes the country fried steak taste so good!!!😄

It's normally served with the gravy on it. I guess he asked for it on the side.
It's very near Senoia, GA which is where they filmed the Living Dead and many other shows as well as movies.
can we all just appriciate how good this mans beard looks in 4K quality content my guy is smashing it
Agreed
Watching Beard eat fried apples for the first time just made my day!
