I have been following this game since last summer. They originally had it set to release Autumn 2023. Then it was delayed. Went dark. Delayed again. April Fooled us. Delayed. I have to admit I wasn't sure if this game would get enough spotlight on it to make it. But wow! This team knows what they are doing. One day, literally, in one day, I saw like 20 sponsored videos from content providers. And it has been massive since then.
Im excited for this, can't wait to play it. Also not sure if this was covered but the same person who did FFT music (the music in the video if viewers didn't know it) is the same composer for this game.
I remember playing Triangle Strategy and it was such a blast! Personally did not mind the dark atmosphere but i understand why SoC did not want to make it overwhelming in that regards. Also surprised to know its early release was somewhat related to TS release.
Saw a video about it earlier in the night, It does look interesting, FF Tactics come to mind, I am a sucker for pixel RPGs so ill definitely check it out. Great video!
From what I have seen from other rerollers is Gloria should not be a target. With Berly(and 2 other characters from progression rewards), you can get characters that form a team that gets bonuses with a leader unit.

I'm playing this game on beta version on steam and waiting for Global launch. I'm going to play Global version in loving memories of FFT. It seems... Gloria will become Agrias 2.0 or Agrias Pro Max. :D :D :D
afaik Faycal is a login reward, and Rawiyah is a new player mission reward. Like you know when you join a game, and theres Day 1 missions, Day 2 missions etc for new players?

I appreciate the work put into this like the art, music, and system. However, this is just another chinese mobile Gotcha using JP style art. Single player is not as fun. I don't like PVP but it has the better characters and weapons.
I don't like the artstyle of this game at all. looks very generic and doesn't remotely come close to the likes of triangle strategy let alone final fantasy tactics.
This isn't a "tactics" type game, cuz the only tactic is pay more and you win. Gacha games with PvP elements are literally the worst thing to ever exist in gaming.

But, many people will still feel forced in a way due either, or due to a combination of peer pressure when it pertains guild battles and FOMO in terms of rewards. This may not apply to you but it does apply to many and is a clear tactic to get people into spending. I rather just not come near games like that, especially not after finally managing to quit WOTV which had become a daily annoying obligation. If you don't mind/love PvP in gachas then that's cool though, each to their own. You're defo not the only one and my opinion is just that; a mere opinion. But, I just think PvP where you can generally win based on how much money you've spent is such a disgrace as to what videogames should be like and about. And it's all just to prey on people's money. Gacha in and of itself is already horribly predatory. But with the paired PvP incentives to make people spend it's even worse. Even worse is every whale will wind up with similar teams because there's always the current meta. So even if you spend a lot, how you play, what you use, becomes lame, repetetive, predictable.
Oh I forgot this game was Gotcha trash, so sad that this much effort went in to making a game that is only about scamming its players. So much more could have been done with the effort that was put into making it.
I don't know how this is a win for anyone other than the corpos. It's sad it looks like a great game locked behind gacha mechanics, since I refuse to support any gacha game ever.

Im a big fan of FFTA & Tactics Ogre so I'm very excited to play this one. The story mode not being tied to the gacha is a huge plus in my book
