if sony announced that it is not releasing any new apsc in the next 6 months, i would buy a6600 right away. its just the fear that if i buy today a6600, and just a few months later it comes up with a new apsc stills, i will feel terrible.
I think regardless it’s still a great camera that will last years. Specs for me are minor thing. Most cameras now a days have what you need to get the job done. Specs matter more the the shooter, not the client.
I haven’t really used it. I think it all depends on how much control you want. I always recommend the a6600 as a good all arounder. But if you don’t need that much control, the zv-e-10 should be just fine.

5:12 A major reason why I bought the camera was for the flip/tilt up screen. Those who do street photography appreciate being able to look down at the tilt up screen and snap a photo by touching the screen. Thise who do sellhies and vlog like to look at themselves and it still looks like they are staring at the lens. Thats a subjective one, but definitely not a con.

I'm a fan as well. Love the smaller, less expensive lenses too that you can be matched up with this body. Like not having the center hump for the viewfinder. The rangefinder style body works better for me.
Solid video. My Sony a6400 is my run & gun camera. the a6400/a6600 are still beasts. I actually have a shoot coming up next week. It never let me down.
@@isaquemoresco Thank you for the response! Do you find that the IBIS helps manage the rolling shutter at all? Even with OSS lenses on my A6400 I am seeing no difference between it on or off.
@@DennisMeetsWorld I haven’t really noticed tbh. Though I know the a6600 does have better ibis that the a6500. I know the a6400 doesn’t so it might be a thing to consider.

thanks, i found it "SmallRig Cage For Sony A6100/A6300/A6400/A6500 (2310)" as the one for the 6600 doesn't have the strut in the middle/near the grip-lens
First Sony Camera about two years old. Only knock on it is it doesn't sync 100% to my Crane 3s . Can't control aperture and ISO through the Gimbals controls so still have to get my presets done . Maybe you can do a video on setting up the c1, c2, etc... controls on the camera .
I did mention that I use it for video, but it’s not my primary camera for my commercial video work. It’s my “run and gun” camera for events and vlogging. Yes it is 8bit, but I have used it as a B cam with my BMPCC6K and made it match really well. Even pixel peepers couldn’t tell much of a difference.
That all depends on what your mostly focused on as far as content goes. I’d say that if you were more into video, go with the FX30. But the a6600 is a really good hybrid camera. Does great photos and video.

You can go wrong with them. That’s for sure! I’ve always enjoyed shooting on the a6600 and find it to be super reliable.

Yep. You just have to program them and you’re good to go.
What are your thoughts on the horrific rolling shutter in 4K? I have an A6400 and its unusable unless you’re using a tripod.
Definitely no good. Though I’m not really in a lot of situations where that impacts me.

Hey, Comparing the Sony a6600 with the Fujifilm X-S10 for a hybrid user, which one is a better option?
I've never used the Fujifilm X series cameras. But I will say that the Sony a6600 is a breeze to work with.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty good. I usually use mine, especially outdoors with the Sony 18-105mm and it’s super smooth.

How is these specs the same as a FF camera? It literally has APS-C specs....its not FF....
They are comparable to the a7iii. Never implied it was FF. Can still have specs of a full frame camera and be an APS-C.
