** SPOILER ** About the man that wanted to go search for his child If you let him go and give him some resources, he will actually come back alive with his child near the end
hey, you can manipulate the road placement on the first steelworks by putting a paths on either side of it then placing 2 snow pits between them, since when buildings are confined by paths on opposite ends, they will always try to divide the space equally meaning you get the perfect centre placement if desired. this is a speedrun though, so my suggestion just takes up precious time BUT people reading this comment will know about building manipulation now
I know im really late to this, but if you do something like this again, id recommend houses of healing rather than faith keepers. One unavoidable death, but those houses will heal gravely ill like an infirmary, but dont need steam cores or engineers. Everyone healed there gets a hope boost
Even more late here, but while it does tell you that engineers are not required, you can actually assign children there too if you have the first child labor law (which is probably a given for any challenge). Maybe everyone knows this but i only discovered it by accident recently.
Extremely late but the cleric death at 28:30 (or watchman with order) happens when you ask them to calm the crowd down the second time. So just let them speak for deathless
discontent is pracitcally a useless mechanic unless you hit the max cap and need to decrase it to avoid getting exiled. its just not worth the resources to build one unless you absolutely need to decrease discontent asap.

I didn't know he kills himself if you don't let him
Poor guy
Oh no, and she comes back too
That's awful
Hello, I'm from Russia and I watch your videos with subtitles translated. Don't give up TH-cam, you're doing a great job

Lol this is the best guide to the new home, i do it on Survivor mode in the first time! Thanks bro
Enjoying your videos, @JWiise, thanks!
*Challenge idea:*
Last Autumn speedrun without using the Telegraph.
WR would be like 6 hours d, but an interesting idea
Thank you very much. With your strategies early in the game, I was able to complete it on Survivor.
You're doing better on survivor, on the clock and with restrictions than me on normal lol
I know I just started recently but still

Same with food theft you can only stop them once

Amazing work :0 not beacon is possible :0
Nice !! I will try this Challenge Too 🤓
This is awesome! Love the videos
You are incredible at this game, but can you explain why you don't make fighting arenas? It is free discontent you can use for 14-hour work shifts.
