You guys are amongst Honma’s best ambassadors. Those getting paid to do that job appear to be failing. They are what they are ! A top quality product that has an oriental outlook.
Hey guys, Whats your thoughts on the TW-x irons from last year. Heard the heads are quite small but the sole is a little larger. I play off 9 but play the Honma 737P with a nspro950 stiff shaft and love them. I have the 719p also and there amazing too. so im looking to sell both them off and buy the TW-x. purely because they have been reduced conciderably. But dont have a clue how much custom charges will be to bring them to the UK, Scotland from Texas. Any advice on all of the above would be awesome. Honma are great but over hear the re-sale value more than HALVES 2nd hand because people dont know them so well. Because Justin Rose left them there 2nd hand sale just plummeted Thanks in advance & look forward to your thoughts.
@Kevin no, never any clubs here or ranges sell them so it's quite hard to get a hold of a set. Bought pxg now so I'll use them for another year and see where I go after that. Thanks
Hey guys, I live in NW Houston and am unable to get up to north Dallas to see y'all. Is there anyone you would recommend in the Houston area to do fittings and shaft selections? I am very interested in either the TR20 V's or TR20 P's, but would like to make sure whether the steel Nippon 105 S (which is the standard steel shaft Honma utilizes) is the correct one for me. Also, am curious as to whether a mixed bag of the 2 would be better for me and looking for the potential ability to do that, where the box stores only offer them as a set and not individually. Appreciate any recommendations y'all have.
So Sorry Im just now seeing this. Check out our friends you tube channel @onthefringegolf they are from that area and have some videos on where they like to go fo fittings and club testing!
Ha sorry about that, I didn’t catch it on the edit, In my option someone looking for a more traditional Forged feel, but has a fairly constant Negative angle of attack, and the ability to put the ball pretty close to the center of the face almost every swing. This club isn’t going to help you to much but if you can do the things above it’s a great feeling club!
All I know is I can hit my ping g410 pw like 150-155 and my p790 like 145...7 iton ping 200 p790 seems like I can get like 185....yea don't like the p790s waste of money...but not a fan of the g410s to much...going to sell them both and try the new callaway apex...or go back to the callaway x might be older but they suited me better....

At 7:26 you said “who this golf club is made for” and then started talking about your P790s, I wish you would have answered your own question....

The p790s are not not a distance club I get less distance on them compared to my ping g410
goldenglove25 interesting, the stock versions are so strong in loft.. I’d love to see some TrackMan stats! Do you know the lofts of your g410’s?
