To each their own my man. I already know what this combo is like... It's not the blasphemy.... it's the weight/balance. Way higher COG and way more forward weight. Have fun man. I'm not the one driving it lol.
The forward weight shouldn’t be much greater than when the EG was in there, the EG also sat another foot past where the JZ ends. Cog will definitely change but I don’t foresee it being all that bad

I think a RWD set up would be so much fun on the flip side. Be able to hook around with the Subaru too 😅
I recently found out they made an AWD Aristo, if I can locate the OE Toyota front differential I might use that
@@Smeedia Nice. I might have to see if I can find that. Also Stephan Papadakis has a lot of great videos on building these if you even need a reference
Loving the 2j content. I was considering turbo ls with the little plate that mates to the sti trans in the future for my own build. So if you wanna go ahead and do that too I'd appreciate it.😂
lol I looked into that, the issue with using the stock trans is you can’t run a hood 👀😅
@@Smeedia goddammit
Decking the block and head seems like a safe bet.

It's like a honda that bottom ring keeps timing belt from walking off and the way it lines up is exactly like Hondas are set up
“That’s a long boy cam!” … bro, do you remember how long the cams you’re used to playing with are? I’m pretty sure EJ cams are shorties not the other way around 🤣
Subaru cams are little shorty cams. Been a while 😂
@@Smeedia 🤣🤣🤣
Doing the Inverse GR86/BRZ build. Body and Interior by Subaru, Powertrain by Toyota.
Oh how the turns have tabled 😂
Last video "I'm just gonna clean up the top end and drop it in."
This video "SENDING IT ON A FULL ENGINE BUILD!"
😆This is why we're friends. Neither of us knows how to do things "good enough"
I mean, it’s already on the engine stand 😂😂
Did i miss something. I could have sworn last time i watched you were getting a coyote. 🤨 glad you decided against it, this is funner.👌
The JZ was calling to me 😅
#2jzdatbish Can't wait Tanner! Proud of you dude 🤙
🫶 excited to get this new power plant in the car 🥳
Yoo should got the r35 coil kit PRP
I already bought it from Haltech 🫡
any reason for choosing this exhaust manifold over something like the artec one?
The ETS one looked like it kept the turbo close to the engine. And had the watergates tucked under the manifold. Wanted to keep things compact 🫡
