Starting 2 weeks ago im eating potatoes , rice and fruits... oh boy I can breathe clearly at last ,I actually have energy , im getting my health and life back.. excessive protein has destroyed my life , but no more... rice , potatoes, fruit has given me my life back after years of sickness....😊😊

It is not just longevity but quality of life. All of my family are very obese but live well into their 60’s and 70’s. The thing is even though they live long lives they all suffer from disease and health problems. I am 66 (soon 67) but have no health problems right now because I eat the WFPB way or try to and I am not being prideful, just stating fact. My problem is staying on the diet but I go from morning to night in constant flux. Everyone else my age has long lists of medicines they take, but I take none. But for instance my brother in law is well into his 60’s but has to take an insulin shot every time he eats and cannot put his shoes on without help and has bad knees and stents and is about 450 pounds and has other health related issues. Just moving about is a problem for him and he has to ride a motorized cart to get around but can only walk a little bit. HIs brother just died from COVID but had bad diabetes, could not walk far and other health issues and was legally blind from diabetes but was 72 years old when he died. So qualtiy of life is what we really search for along with longevity. I worked with a man who was about 400 lbs and could barely walk and is still alive and is near 80 but is so very sick and always was sick. Who wants to live like that. Yeah live long and retire to what a couch or a wheelchair in front of a television? Listen to these people they know what they are talking about. Sorry I went long.

So basically we should take all the foods out that cause disease and put in foods that won’t hurt us. I like how these doctors think. It seems so simple that it is amazing this theory is not taught in medical school. It must be so frustrating for the doctors that get it

"Amazing"? Not to me. Not once I came to grasp that the medical industry is funded by what makes the medical industry MONEY, which is NOT "eat right so you'll need on average hundreds of thousands of dollars less of our care during your lifetime". It's no different than in politics and elsewhere -- accepted, ubiquitous institutionalized selfishness.

This was one of his best! Food consumed “ ad libitum” on McDougall program! Nice discussion of his mentor’s famous rice diet.

Thank you for all your lectures. You made me turn vegan from vegetarian last year. What a healthy diet it is!
I coined a phrase sometime back:
There is a big difference between icecream and rice steamed
Rice has been my staple diet all through since I am from South India.

In a way this is the most basic and at the same time the most radical information of a radically healing diet - that has existed for such a long time but was very much criticised during the hippies periode where it became popular for a periode -
Its so wonderfull that it can be found now on TH-cam but still Strange that it is not really accepted in the mainstream Health System - 🙏🍀💚🦎

What would happen if a person following this type of diet chose to eat one baked white potato each day? (In addition to also eating the rice)
Would it negate the benefits of the rice diet? 🤔

Rosita beans have half cup of lard added. Use the organic canned beans or make homemade.
Eat steamed rice not fried rice which has high fat from the oil. Some of the instant rice packages have some oil added too. Sauces have high fat.

I see no problem with sugar...it certainly didn't hurt Kempner's patients. It's protein and fat that hurts.
