So wonderful to see you back Dennis, I have missed your wonderful videos. Hope things get back to a more normal for you and your business soon as Australia opens back up.
It’s so true that what I love the most about traveling is exchanging the stories with new people you meet along the way, catching up with family, friends and share the journey.
Thanks mate. Your Indian Pacific video is definitely the greatest train video of all time! In terms of train journeys whilst crossing the Nullarbor on the IP is super cool I think there is something incredible about the North South journey as you move from the tropics through the arid desert and onto the Mediterranean climate of Adelaide over the course of one trip.
Hi Dennis Wow, I am amazed that after all those wines, you were still able to talk and record !😂 I do hope there were designated drivers to get everyone home, too ! Great to see The Ghan has reinvented herself to suit the times, and keep people employed, too !
Clare Riesling, and especially Polish Hill River Riesling, is about the best white wine in SA IMHO, and the reds beat the much vaunted Barossa into a cocked hat. What a pity there is no longer a railway line right into downtown Clare, would have saved that 1 hour bus trip!
Love the fact you’re hammered by the end of the day, great video. We did the Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin platinum, it was the experience of a lifetime. . Hopefully next is the Indian pacific. Good fun. Stay safe
DUDE!!!! LMAO!!!!! You were pretty well lit up at the end there!!!!! On a more serious note though, when I saw the price tag, even in Aussie Dollars, I was thinking you guys were getting taken advantage of due to Covid. Your report made it completely obvious that I was oh so wrong. I would happily pay that in U.S. Dollars or in my case Euros for such a trip. Finding such trips are really hard to find because everybody wants cheap. Paul did the full trip last year and like I told him, if I ever get Down Under, thanks to your reports, I will definitely travel the Ghan. I also told him that he had bragging rights for train travel over Jeb, and so do you.
William, we are being taken advantage of by anything tourist orientated. They know we can't go anywhere and will pay as we are so desperate to do something. I sit near our travel team at work who move our staff around WA. A lot of the costs have more than doubled pre covid according to them. We looked at going to Broome. Just for 5 day car hire was 1200.00. We stayed home lol
Loved it dennis.would love to try that trip with my wife one day.so pleased to see you out and about.you still have that same laid back style that had me watching your channel when we were all flying.stay safe.
Great video Dennis, thanks for the little feature :) Platinum looks nice, although I reckon that the Pikes Wines was better? I will let the audience be the judge of that after watching both our reviews. I also met a mother/daughter duo back in Gold, must be something about this daytrip. Cannot wait to see more reviews from you, really missing the iconic content! Stay safe!
After have done the ghan both ways highly recommended paying the extra and doing it from Darwin I am planning it again with a friend from NZ in couple years
We have travelled on both in Platinum , Darwin to Adelaide was THE BEST Trip we have had, great staff, great food, good company, good off train experiences (especially the camel ride ,I think it was that one that got me the brownie points), on the trip from Perth to Sydney, we were always late coming into a stop, so we missed a lot, maybe next time try Sydney to Perth. Philltheflyer
Great little peek at an epic product Dennis. Can't wait to see what 2022 brings for your channel, ready for you to get your wings back in full swing again!
I would like to take the Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide to see Australia then staying at Adelaide for a week before continueing to Sydney by the Indian Pacific (or a bus).... Thank you very much, Dennis, for sharing your great documentary with us.
This day trip is interesting and nice. Love the wine pairing lunch. During my trip on the Indian Pacific, the only first class travel is Gold, now there's Platinum. Can't wait to try it. You have a safe and healthy week (what's left of it).
Australias answer to the Orient Express and the Flying Scotsman. The Australian Tourist Board will be waiting for the go ahead for international tourism. Hopefully this video will wet peoples appetite for experiences like this. You are a great ambassador showcasing Australia. Mover over Mick Dundee, Dennis has got your job!
What a lovely way to spend a day! 😉👍🏻. I hope you and your wife actually do the full trip on the Ghan 🚂 and make a presentation about it. It’s good to diversify your presentations Denis considering you own a travel company.
Glad to see you back Dennis after all the restrictions being lifted for European travel from down under, be great to see you back on a plane doing your thing! big luv from the UK :-)

Wine touches all the senses, including the visual. I love the way you go cross-eyed to see it as you sip it!

Great video Dennis. Great to see you back.
Seeing flashes of the QF1 trip in First Class towards the end of the video! really enjoyable looking day
Beautifully put together - thank you for sharing!

Amazing trip mate! Though, I’ll still contend the Indian Pacific is the greatest 😉

A perfect video Dennis!! I love going by train and I love wine! As grown up in a wine region, I visited some regions in australia years ago.
Camel-shaped avocado! Nice touch.😊😊
Going to be in Sydney 7-4-22 to catch Indian Pacific on 7-6 to Perth and can hardly wait. Still have Ghan on my list . Great upload.
Really enjoyed that one Dennis. The Ghan is officially added to the ‘to do’ list. Hopefully we’ll see you back in the air soon.
Wow! What an amazing trip! Sounds like a lot of fun Dennis… Cheers 🥂 from here in Detroit, MI [DTW] USA 🇺🇸
Thank you for the video! That train looks very comfortable.
Loved the video. Reminded me of my time on the Gan in the 2000's when it went from Alice Springs to Sydney via Adelaide.
Great trip, thanks for sharing, another item for the bucket list when next down under!😎

@@DennisBunnikTravels I could see it was great fun! In Holland we say, ik gleed van de bank van het lachen.🤣😆
It would be good if Journey Beyond could introduce a Darwin version of the Taste of The Ghan.
Dennis do you think you will show us more train journeys (especially from overseas) when the world reopens???
i haven't seen your vlog for a long time. How have you been doing, mate? How is everything with Covid pandemic in Adelaide?
I missed that intro music of yours
The food looked very good, but as a personal preference no alcoholic drinks.
Dennis you have a very strong liver😉
