and the climax ends with Bharat-Milap

Here we will see Ram ji meeting Sabri,some sages and his life in vanvash

The main protagonist is Hanuman ji
The full movie covers Hanuman ji journey where He searches for Sita ji, foughts multiple rakshahs and ends with Hanuman ji giving ring to Sita ji,killing akshaykumar and burning Lanka to ashes
Hanuman ji takes this information to Ram ji and Ram Setu built in the end(within a song)
6. Yudh Kand Part 1
Angad is sent for sandhi but Ravan refuses and war starts
Kumbhkaran will be main antagonist (with other mini villains are Ravan sons)
Movie ends with meghnath appearing in last 5 minutes and mortally wounding Ram-Lakshaman with NagPash
7. Yudh Kand Part 2
Hanuman ji brings Garuda and then fight with Meghanath begins again with Meghnath harming Lakshman ji yet again and Hanuman is bringing Sanjeevani
In interval scene - Lakshman ji kills Meghnath
And then final battle between Ravan and Ram ji takes place
And after 5 parts Ram-Sita unites

rather than 7 movies i'll rather go for a webseries with 7 seasons with each season having 7-10 episodes (somewhat like game of thrones)
it will be a huge project with multiple actors and seasons so every character (especially the main ones) should be handpicked with several rounds of audition and will take around 4-5 years (minimum) and huge budget for vfx and casting
but if it becomes successful then it can be a gamechanger for indian film and series industry somewhat like the 2013-14 starplus mahabharat did for tv industry that show became widely popular in some countries like indonesia, malaysia and turkey
starplaus mahabharat with a 100 cr budget was much better than this adipurush shit made with 600 crores

why we even need big stars for ramayana, its story itself is so epic that even few nonfamous actors play the characters with dedication and honestly film will achieve everything.

one thing to keep in mind for a successful cast is that they should be demographically correct with appearance matching of that era . Like Sita ma should be portrayed by a nepali/north eastern tall slight muscular girl, similarly Ram & Lakshman ji should be portrayed by a north Indians while Hanuman ji and Ravan should be portrayed by south Indians. Another thing to note is that mixture of Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu should be used for song at various situation. For example tamil can be used for the lyrics and tuning for Ravans entry song. In last i guess places of prominence must be part of film such as Ayodhya, Nashik, Kollam, Rameswaram like the actual places and route should be depicted and the movie should be built in 3 parts for effectively covering the epic Ramayan. Thats my thought if anybody wants to add something they are always welcome. By the way how about creating a hindu scripture universe where it starts from Ramayana and ends at Mahabharat covering all the time line in brief. All theatre actors must be involved for these.
It's a great idea,I feel. The epics like Ramayan or Mahabharat can not be contained in a single movie of 2 to 3 hrs. There should be different parts which requires atleast 3 movies. You r definitely right.

Speaking of ace director Mani Ratnam has ironically made a spin-off of Ramayana character RAAVAN of the same name in 2011(I guess). He emphasized the character of what everyone knows is the biggest villain in the history of Indian mythology, by showing the lighter side of the RAAVAN. It was a decent film and Jr Bachchan looked pretty good in that grey-shaded character.
It was a left agenda with Sita having affections for Ravana. Please do not fall for these agenda.

I think 'Ram' cannot be repeated after 'Arun Govil Ji'. That Charm, innocence and controlled anger. That sweet controlled smile. That Yogic Aura. Also, his conduct in real life is similar.
How can Ranbir or any other from bollywood can match that.
Only other person which comes into my mind, who is close to this is 'Saurabh Raj Jain' - who played 'Krishn' in the Star Plus' 'Mahabarat'.
But again, we love him as 'Krishn', would be difficult to accept him in any other role. 🙏
yeah to match the level of arun govil as ram is near impossible thing for any actor but i guess Ranbir has that charm, innocence and control anger too. He has great facial expressions and that always smiley face as well. Hrithik and Ram Charan can be an option as well but their face looks mostly serious and they don't have that charmness as well. But they could pull it off as well.

The only thing actors need to understand is that if they are a part of grand projects like ramayan and Mahabharat, then they shouldn't feel that they are not the main character if they are not ram or raavan. Each character is equally important and there portrayal has to be perfect. Like in Adipurush they could've casted big names for Lord Hanuman and Laxman but Om raut treated them as side characters which they were not. There are no main characters in these epics and each and every role should ve considered as an honour by the actors
After watching 'kantara' in 16-17 Crores.. made by Rishab Shetty.. give him all deciding power & Money . The masterpiece will b worth for Centuries 🎉
For me the best casting for Ramayan would be Siddharth Malhotra as Shree Ram, Kiara as Sita maa, Varun Dhawan as Raavan, Vidhyut Jamwhal as Hanuman, Karthik Aryan Laksman ji . The reason why I choose these actors is that they fit perfect physically and by intensity of acting.

Apart from varun the rest are children of ordinary people and grew up in a middle class family. And they charge less fees compared to other actors.
If you can not respect someone's hard work, dedication and struggle then keep your mouth shut. All of them are good actors and can play the Characters of Ramayan properly.

You have selected these best actors for caste but at the same time if we think practically for the directors and producers budget is the main issue. Since all the actors and actresses are high budget castes.
But apart from every problems if all actors, actresses, producers and directors cooperate and work together for a best screen presence. No doubt the movie will have potential to cross huge margins like marvel and DC.

You forgot the name R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. They both are perfectly fit in the character of Ravana and Kumbhakarna.. Also Raja Dashrath character is suitable on Ronit Roy..
If the prominent directors and legendary minds from whole Indian Cinema world team up ,, it is possible , as well as it would be much more enigmatic and perfect . Then it could be considered as an epic milestone film from India to the World cinema & Oscars . 🎉
I can give you more options like Anushka Shetty as Seeta Maa, then Rana daggubati as Raavan because in Bahubali there characters were interested a bit by them. Infact in Bahubali movie Amarendra Bahubali's character was also inspired by Sree Ram and Prabhas was fit for this. But now what's wrong with him, only the maker knows. It's actually very unfortunate.

He has kinda agressive facial features(which btw aren't a bad thing at all) that just don't suit Lord Ram's character. I think Karthi can live the character of Hanuman. Deepika or Ashwariya are best choices for Sita's role Cause they carry a queen like aura around them and they can pull of the innocence and simplicity of Sita's character. Ranbir or DQ can do justice to the character of Ram and Siddharth for Laxman's role. For such huge project directors like SLB, SSR, Mani Ratnam are best suited.
