Both those films failed to recover the money that was spent into it so regardless how much they earned, they're flops at the box office due to that reason

Well the budget for zero was litterally skyrocket of more than 300 crores yet it couldn't earn half of the budget and fan budget was also around 200 crore if not for the distributors of this movies or heavy promotion and more screening I doubt this movie would even collect around 100 crores
@@AshishKumar-if4dt Zero budget was 200cr and Fan budget was 90-100cr without promotional campaigns. Both were experimental movies and they're so as their budget was very high. In today's time both of them would have collected 500cr+ ww easily. But the scene was not the same back then.

What's more is that even though not many of his films were a hit, they were all still pretty good imo. (Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Bloody Daddy, even jersey was decent). Of course, Farzi is incredible and has garnered him a lot of praise.

SRK is the most experimental superstar of India! He never does remakes. SRK brought high VFX movie in India with RaOne, Zero & Fan were off-beat films. Even though they failed but still I am proud of SRK for not going with remake formula

This was a comeback for him and then his another movie named 'Sila Samayangalil' went to the final round of the 74th Golden Globe Awards. He replied his insult very well and gave two big success.💖

You Forgot to metion Rajnikanth 's Jailer, It collected 650 crore worldwide and have a 12 no. Ranking in top highest earning 10 movies of india, jailer was 1000x way better than gadar 2, be it music action or anything it was just a awesome movie which got very less appreciation from the audience.
Jailer was a Pan Indian Movie. But Gadar 2 released in hindi only. That's the difference.
