HAHAHAHA 🤣! I've been having a bad day with everything breaking, but your commentary has completely removed all that negativity. Thank you for the fix and humor! 🏆
OMG I was looking last week trying to find a video that showed a closer view of the connections from the thermostat to the heating element and I wish I'd watched this first. Great video and thank you for the clarity on it. I'll have to watch the thermostat replacement because the one that came with the heating element order looks different than the one thats on the dryer. Thank you so much again. I'm praying this works =)
Hey! I have a Kenmore electric dryer. I replaced the heating element and the high limit thermostat, and it worked. The heating element got hot, but it took more than one cycle to get my clothes dry. Now, it's stopped working again. Any suggestions?
Changed the fuse several times then decided to check out the heating element. I noticed that I only have 2 red wires connected to my heating element. I would say they are the “upper wire” and the “front lower wire”. The orange “back lower wire” is nowhere to be found. Is there a reason why this would be the case?
Great video, good humor. Loved it. I do not have 3 wires coming off of my heating element, there are only two. Everything else looks the same. Model number WED7300Dw1. Anybody know why that might be? Just ordered a heating element. Haven't tried putting it in yet since I have not received it. Ordered the thermal fuse, thermal cuto-off and thermistor too since they're all pretty cheap. Figured one of these things ought to fix my dryer not working
