i like that this campains are always like those fanfics of " my oc will say that the plot have 0 sense and the ideas the charactes have are stupid " but as it is with a already existing character *and is Garithos* it actually looks very fitting
Captain's Zeal and Fanaticism skills are a reference to Diablo 2 Paladin. I freaking love that build (Zealot Paladin). Probably change Radiance skill to Holy Fire in the future.

Remind me, how did Lord Anduin Lothar die? By trying to parlay with the orcs, you daft git!!! You really have good comedic writing skills. I laughed a lot at the "You gave them a moral boost by sending your two best knights to their death" or " i don't wanna hear that coming from you". Just the exasperated way Garithos says the last part.
blizzard ruined the warcraft lore with warcraft 3, humans got done so dirty in warcraft 3, half the characters make no sense just so the elves and orcs can get all the glory, blizzard has fallen far

However they did great in the expansion, the story catched the feeling of war of brood, realistic in fantasy politic logic. So the mater always should not be grayness of character but forced grayness for a character when you don't even figure out why should you do that for the development of story.

Later in WoW, we see how our glorious humanity thrived and raised in power despite suffering heavy loses during the 3rd War. Amazing! Rise up humanity!
Just imagine if Arthas had Garithos as a mentor instead of Uther. He would still be surprised at the request of culling Stratholme, but after Arthas' explanation of how the Plague works, the Grand Marshall would rally his army immediately to help. Both Uther and Terenas were more afraid of how obsessed Arthas became about his vengeance, instead of focusing on the growing undead threat. In the end, the Silver Hand's morals got nearly everyone slaughtered. But their internal organization ignored those voices until it was WAAAY too late, so that's why the Scarlet Crusade got full of crazies.

Nobility could afford thick armor, solid weapon and a good steed. Even as a kid I thought Uther was an idiot for sending his two best men in with no back-up to parley with demon worshipping orcs. Also I loe how you managed to follow up on the Captain wanting a horse.

I'll never understand how the Alliance went from having entire platoons of paladins in the Second War, to only a handful of elderly warriors by the end; I know in the lore there are still Knights of the Silver Hand, but they are more uncommon. Also, the paladins, mostly knights trained by clerics, used to be "based", they were defenders of the Kingdom of Lordaeron which was a hub for most of the paladin order(s), and despised the orcs, undead and demons (besides Fordring, but that when the lore started to paint orcs in a grey moral tone). However, as with everything these days, the paladins became care-bears, heck the Silver Hand in modern lore (I think) is almost pacifist.
"Why train more paladins to fuel my war princeling! Belay that, why not head home and guard your father boy" - Garithos pops out of the bushes after defeating Blackrock clan
I love this captain, if we had "no-personal-drama" mode he single-handedly established what you have to do. Only add a pan over your starting position during his briefing and well, we know all we need to. Now I want an announcer voice swap to him.
Suggestions for the Culling of Stratholme. - Have Garithos explain the trolley problem that is Stratholme, but using in-universe terms. - Have Arthas be weirdly interested in maximising casualties. - Have Uther be reluctantly convinced. - Have Jaina walk away because 4 heroes would be too many.

When i was a kid i never thought about it too in depth but honestly what was uther thinking sending 2 lone knights to parley with legion orcs? Maybe the negotiation was something along the lines of "surrender and go to our orc prision camps and we wont kill any of you" but still those 2 knights got done dirty, should have sent paladins to dip out with divine protection

As Julian wrote before, I agree with Garithos when it comes to Uther, because he just got soft after Second War Recall: The Culling... If he was a true paladin like Tirion Fordring, he wouldn't just drop hands and leave... He'd either: help Arthas to cure citizens and deal with MalGanis together Or he would be so pissed off of the very thought of killing zombified yet innocent people, he'd just smash Arthas with a hammer
