Steve M. No better person to describe a car. The new owner will have a video of Steve M. Describing their new car. What an amazing shop to buy a car from HighOctane classics.
Sure there is, they’re called turbos and superchargers. There’s 4 cylinder Hondas driving around these days that would put all these muscle cars to shame on a drag strip. Old v8s just sound better 👍
The GOAT never disappoints! Steve, you are the best at combining brilliant facts with the best content. Your knowledge is outstanding! It's great to see you getting better and better every day!
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : Professor Steve 🍎📓📝📐🎓 good afternoon ; a buddy of my had one , sad to say the dummy took out a city light lamp ! Nice to see that one is still around ! Video very informative & interesting thanks for all your work ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 ( My buddy he was ok after 8 months in the hospital ) !
Correct, 1969 model year, with VIN for the win: 9 for 1969 model year, T for Metuchen, NJ assembly, 02 for Mustang fastback, R for 428 CID V8 with four-barrel, ram air induction, Cobra Jet, aka "Never Since Mr. Ed Has a Horse Spoken This Clearly", and the rest is the production sequence. The Metuchen NJ plant was also called Edison Assembly and closed in 2004. What many may or may not know is that Ford used the Q-Jet on some 429 CID V8 (although this is a 428 CID V8) engines, proving how good of a carburetor it really is. All Big 3 car companies (and others) used it. We got the tag, we can brag: 63C for Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, B(5) for Maroon exterior paint, 3A for Black interior trim, 06C for Thursday March 6, 1969 production, 22 for Charlotte, NC sales district, W for 4.30:1 rear axle ratio, locking, and 6 for four speed manual transmission, close ratio, with 2.32 first gear. Yup, when you have the Marti (report), you can have a party. The Marti Report is the gold standard of Ford certification just like the Pontiac Historical Services report from Pontiac. All Ford vehicles should have it to show provenance. English Motor Company is possibly Crescent Ford at that same location as shown on the Marti Report.
Two days in a row when the cars make you think it's 1969. What an absolute mint condition example. Congratulations to the new owner! Thank you for the great walk through High Octane Classics, Super Shane, and Mr Magnante ~ Chuck
In 1969 my dad bought a car from a ford dealer and the salesman picked us up in a brand new mach 1 I had to ride in the back but wish this ride in this awesome car would never end for this 11 yr. old boy then we had to ride home in a 68 4 dr. galaixe he bought darn it I wanted that mustang dad!!

Thank you Steve!👍

There is no replacement for displacement. Thanks Steve.

Beautiful car and restoration. I’m so glad they kept the hood flat black. Great job describing the car Steve. Great to see your progress
The last few muscle cars you’ve done videos on have been some of the very best.
Not many don't lust after this car. Well presented Steve
Steve thanks for the walk around, the 69 Mach 1 SCJ shaker 4 speed drag pack is my favorite Mustang.

Thank you.👌
Very refreshing to see a Mach 1 without a spoiler & louvers, I much prefer these without them.
Nice, Steve! The new owner needs to add power steering to really enjoy it. These nose- heavy cars are a bear to turn without it.
Thank you Steve! Awesome car!
Interesting fact! 69 sports roof/ fastback could be ordered with a white or black vinyl top. My dad has one. It is on the original build sheet.
I hope the new owner, buys a HQ fuel regulator.

i’m a little light, how good is credit in this joint?
It's already sold. No price shown.
Love a “factory restoration” but I think I’d have did the smog pump delete if it were my car.
FORD WAS THE WORSE ON JUST 2 BARREL ENGINES
