Great review. I’ve got this same guitar, in the same pink color. Swapped out the Broad’tron bridge HB with a Zebra Pearly Gates HB and my oh my - the meanest sound and tone ever coming out this pink nightmare! If you don’t like pink, get a different color. But this guitar is for real folks

ive been amateur jamming on my home sofa for 40+ years... ive had all the guitars thru the years.... i have this guitar in gold... it fits so perfectly between an epiphone les paul and a strat... i find an epi lez im just distorted chugging, the strat middle pup always gets in my way and im fiddling with the switches too much.... this Gretsch is bang in the middle i really enjoy its twang..and its rock... it even jazzez up nice.... it feels a LOT better quality than its £250 price tag... and the name is prestigious... GRETSCH... i love it
Tune this down to C standard and throw a fuzz on it and you've got yourself a retro style budget doom machine that's something different from the typical LP and SG out there while still being in that ballpark

Just raise the rear pickup by one or two turns of the screws. It will bring up the volume on the rear pickup. You can lower the front P90 to even it out.
I got the Mint Green, it sounds just like his. It is an amazing guitar for the sale price of $200. Feels, sounds, and looks fantastic. Glad I broke my promise to myself not to buy another guitar
In mint Green it looks amazing and i love Gretsch they always make their guitars so quality compared to Epiphone , also Streamliner is so 1930s its cool name

Yeah mine the vol and tone don't really do anything til the last 10% Still a great guitar though. Priced low enough that I don't mind sinking some upgrades into it
I can imagine 2 scenario with it: 1st -Glam Metal band, it will fit right there, second, as a bit of a joke, some hardcore metal band, live performance.. and you pops up with this pinky :D With pignose sticker or sth :D

I have that guitar and it plays great. I,m a big fan of the P90 in the neck. Just wish they put one at the bridge. Other wise a great guitar.

Anything designed for a les paul should fit
I got one a while back. Doesn't fit in a les paul case or a stratocaster case . May have to look at a gretsch case

yes. first, you buy one that *can* be intonated, then install it and intonate.
but that one. no.
Not for each string, but the whole bridge can be adjusted back and forth via two adjustment screws.
