I agree - DCS is too real and takes a good deal of time to learn but this is a jump in and have fun type sim and very user friendly for those with little to lots of experience
@@brentpilot You´re right, also, DCS is buggyAF, has no real working physics, or damage-model, is much harder to get in to, or just dogfight. Then, there is immersion and cockpit-control, not to mention the thing DCS does even worse, like dynamic Radar-Signature or Voice-control/chat. For sole fun with friends in VR VTOLVR>DCS Gameplay>Graphics
@@wudimusic The problem with dcs is mainly that it's not running well in VR, at least not for me. Tried everything with both quest 3 and g2. Vtol however runs super smooth (obviously can't compare the two graphics wise speaking). But VTOL is my favorite VR game. Also with laying down mode on the Quest 3 I can play this in bed, super chill and works great with a wifi 6e and virtual desktop wirelessly.
Well I'm not a fighter pilot, but as a real GA SAR pilot, I'd say it's pretty closely simulated. I've played some flight sims with bad physics and it's easy to tell the difference.
I believe there is also an option to make the joystick smoother/less sensitive. Might help with the jerky tracking of controllers maybe. I think the de nailed the physics of the planes to be enjoyable while still feeling realistic as much as it can be. I honestly have zero complains about this game. The main thing that stands out is the replayability due to community workshop/editor. I hope I can get some friends of me to play this game together one day.
Best VR-Game there is!

Mans got no eyes.....how can he see up there xD
Nice vid. Love seeing pilots do their thing in games.
LOL - thanks, I can have a lot more fun in the simulator, by fun I mean life threatening ha
I wish there was some commentary.
Me too, I didn't record on the quest so I just put this one out as a play through. I do rather them with commentary so watch for the next one, thanks!
3:59 i think you’re missing something on the checklist my dude
HUD ha, you are correct!
How do the flight physics compare to the real thing? Its not obviously 1 to 1. But does it hit the right marks?
