Could you re do this experiment with a friend! Someone who isn’t already recognized, I feel like people could have recognized you which helped the likes a little then tiktoks pushed it out to even more people. with maybe a regular topic like comedy or less editing skills.

Great content, but this was the only thing that bugged me a bit. The mannerisms, timing and voice inflections almost made me think this was a VSauce parody.
A short summary from the video: 1. Put a famous sound in the background of the video and turn the volume down to 0. 2. Everything you do on the app comes down to the algorithm. 3. Almost every video you see is completely fed to you by what it thinks you would like to see.

I absolutely love this! With a kind heart, there are a few variables you may not have considered. 1. “Production value” of your videos. Lighting is well lit, your copy is excellent, and your post editing is fantastic. 2. That is all encompassing with the concept of your videos being a “high effort video”. Your video is evident you took the time to produce high quality content. Low effort videos can still pop off, but high effort videos presumably may be more eye appealing. 3. Exterior platform following. You have 28.3K followers on TH-cam. When celebrities get on tik tok, their first video may not even be great at all, but they get so many likes and all of their following is transferred in a short amount of time. These are my own observations; I’m literally so happy you took the time to do all of this. Posting of 3 videos each day with a control, that is some serious dedication. Honestly inspiring me to try the same. A challenge for you if I may offer, do the same experiment, but with an average joe. Someone with such a low count of followers anywhere, and starting fresh out of the box. I’m going to challenge my self to do the same. I just have to plan to film about 21 tik toks in preparation for my first week, and what I want to niche/focus on. I can’t wait to see what happens! Thank you again for the inspiration!
