You could tell Richie and the guys really felt for her! Notice how Richie put a lot more punch into the last few lines than he usually does? That tells me he was dedicated to making her feel better. And by "adding punch to the last few lines." I mean, he put a lot more energy behind them than I have seen him do in other live performances.
My mother lost my grandmother the same year she graduated and my grandma in 2009 😢 and I lost my grandmother on my dad side in 2022 and my grandpa in 2017 on my dad side
