    Curly hair is so gorgeous however people don’t realize how difficult it is to maintain it healthy and bouncy 😁 I have 2b 3a curls/waves and I have been through the struggle of time myself lol!! I’m currently very happy with my routine. I use the camilles curl maker gel with the Jessie’s soft curls cream together then air dry lastly I diffuse and viola!!! Beautiful bouncy curls ❤️❤️ can’t wait for the live! So we can all chat on what works etc.. great video btw love. Thanks! Xoxo 😘

    I love the results and I would totally be willing to do this once a week, however, I wear a CPAP at night, and it takes my hair nearly 45 minutes to dry. The strands are fine, but there are alot of them and they are porous as heck. Which makes me sad because when my hair acts right, it's so beautiful!!

      Twist upwards away from your scalp to get more volume, and use products with some slip in it. Twist curl sections that clump up naturally, if you split them they could be frizzy. Good luck ☺️

You and I have the same method of applying product and I think we might hair twins 😊 if you don’t like that finishing spray, you could give the Oidad sea salt spray a try..it’s curly girl approved and works great at the roots! Love your hair- I also love when my curly hair is short! I used to heat style only so looking for a healthier method. I have one question, when you finger curl your hair does it matter which direction? Do you alternate towards your face or away from your face? Or do you just curl in one direction? Thanks so much for the great video and product recommendations!

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Veronica! Refreshing on day2 when you have fine wavy/curly hair is a challenge to say the least. I recommend you spray some water on you hair to help re-activate the product you already have from day1 and reshape your curls with a light gel like Biotera Alcool free gel or Gelebration spay from Jessi Curl.
      Hope that helps. Good luck 😉

    I have a question idk if you will see this being so late. But the sides of my hair always get so frizzy when I try to put them forward, to the sides of my face. Even if I don’t brush it. It always ruins my look and it only goes away if I straighten it or the day before I have to wash it again.

    How often do you deep condition? My daughter has 2a hair very fine. And I have no idea how to care for it. My natural hair is 4b haha. So I am sure I'm damaging her hair..she has lost most of her curl/wave. Aldo this is a really long routine, any suggestions for a 8 year old ...quick mornings. And lastly is there a detangle brush to use first ? Thanks so much. I'm really struggling haha

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Chantel Wensley. On an average I deep condition once or twice a week. I also have a curly hair daughter and her hair is more of a 3c texture. I take care of her hair the same way I do with mine except that I can use heavier products on her. I actually have a playlist with all the hair care video I did on my daughter. I will link it for you. I hope that will help.

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Aisling Cooney. The styling takes me about 7 mins. But when I had long hair it took me much longer. Try to only finger coil where you need it the most and let the rest of your hair do it’s thing. I personally like to define the front and top of my hair and leave the rest alone. Hope that helps.

    Hello- I am a new person trying to figure out what my hair is. I have realized that I have wavy/curly hair maybe 2b/2c and I have been straightening it since middle school- I am now a senior in high school so that’s years worth of damage. I used to think that I had really frizzy straight hair but I was too lazy to brush my hair one day and I realized I had wavy hair (which makes sense because my mom does too). I have been watching videos on curly hair which tell me to use a variety of products, to not comb my hair and not wash my hair. That is a mistake as I have somewhat thin hair so those products have been weighing me down. These are the experiments I made so far: 1) The first thing I did was brush my hair after showering and used mousse- the mousse doesn’t work at all for me unless I use more product which leaves my hair very hard. 2) I used a mix of gel and mousse which made my hair look well but overtime, my curls just fell and didn’t look as defined- it just looked like I braided it dry (I also have dark hair and I feel like that makes it look weird unless it’s in layers). I also didn’t brush my hair. 3) I started to diffuse and traded the mousse for leave in conditioner. I LOVE LEAVE IN! It’s so nice and I don’t need a lot of product but I have to put it on my wet hair. What I realized is that air drying it leaves it less defined than I did with diffusing so I stuck to diffusing. Here is my problem- every time I wash my hair- my hair becomes very dry unless I put the product on IMMEDIATELY after showering which is why I have started leaving my conditioner in my hair for a while whilst putting my clothes on and then rinsing so that I can diffuse right after. I do not know if it is because of the damage my straightener did- but no matter how hard I try to keep the curl that I see once I put the product in, a few hours later it looks like I slept in it and it’s frizzy and not as defined. Can somebody please help me with this? I don’t know if I should comb in my hair in the shower or out of it- I am going to start to use my leave in only and use the rake and shake to part evenly but I am afraid that my hair will dry if I take too long. If you guys could also recommend some products I would appreciate it too. I am also going to cut my hair into layers to see how it looks after quarantine. Thank you!
