Classical music is just metal before electricity
And the vivaldi part proves it
Metal is just classical musical after electricity
No it's not
True
Flávio Filho Vivaldi part was EPIC
I've always wondered why Antonio Vivaldi's music translates so well on electric guitar.
The older the easier. Bach is common in any guitar class.
Vivaldi was a violin virtuoso and while the violin and guitar are obviously set up differently they are not entirely unalike. It's probably why Paganini also translates well. While the other composers listed here composed for the violin (as well as played violin among other instruments) they were primarily keyboard players and their work is often too broad to be reduced down to the limitations of the guitar in a manner that is compelling.
because classical music and Metal are pretty much the same thing
@@HyuchaKyrie There's an Italian metal band called 'Rhapsody Of Fire' and there music is almost a celebration of Vivaldi.
@@jamestulk5111 they are cool I only listened to classical fusion
I am now convinced that most of these composers would have been metal-heads had they lived today.
Excellent playing Andre.
absolutely. Progressive metal is very similar to classical music if you break it down in terms of song composition, harmony, melody, scales, etc.
Bill and Ted had Beethoven playing music on electric keyboards in a shop and out came Metal.
They were often rebellious counter cultural icons that pushed the edges of music and pioneered musical techniques.
Vivaldi was the first Power Metal composer in the world.
kinda agree but i wouldnt say power metal. power metal is basically a bunch of powerchords and one solo. id say more like melodeath or tech death
And Bach of the Death Metal
@@falk.r.h8963power metal and melodeath are almost if not the same instrumentally
@@phantom_wolf5274 not really, power metal is often a bunch of tremolo palm mutes and power chords. Melodeath is more versatile. You should listen to "memorine by sympuls-e" it's a melodeath song, whereas "valley of the damned by DragonForce" is a typical power metal song.
La Follia straight up played as written is still easy the first metal song even fully acoustic!
If mozart, vivaldi and beethoven were lived in our time would have been the most famous rockstar ever
And Paganini
Yes way
@NinjaRider777R Mozart never composed anything when he was 5.
@@renzo3939 you're talking without knowing history and you don't know anything about études and study of music. In old times they have composed really hard pieces which you can't compose like that in modern days how can you say that their music won't be famous they are still famous it means you don't know anything about these great composers.
@@renzo3939 They Composed under many hard situations. Not nowadays no is more skilled like them first of all do you know anything about classical music!? Just hearing modern music which is not even good and blaming classical music.

Thank you-
johannes brahms was epic tho

Man Vivaldi songs adapt so well to electric guitars.
They actually adapt well to everything.. Pure Perfection! I also love the aggressive Soul of Beethovens compositions.. They fit better into Metal than classic lol..
and Paganinis
I'm telling you, if those guys would've had the possibilities of today, they would have graced the world with the sickest metal riffs of all time. Especially Beethoven and Vivaldi.

@@johndavid2492 depends, people like me like metal but we should respect your likes too
@@johndavid2492 nah, a violin can't get the same "contrast" in high and low notes like a guitar can. It's a fact. Not to discredit the violin
@@lilifucenius7634 I guess, but at that point you might aswell go with the electric guitar cause it looks cooler. No offense to violinists

Nope, ur not the only one.
Vivaldi's style influenced a lot of virtuous metal guitarists, especially neoclassical metal guitarists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Timo Tolkki and Syu

@@createnewhandle_ VIvaldi lived century and half before Paganini, and he was called "Red Priest"
Beethoven was melodic death metal af
Beethoven was quite metal, actually.
Beethoven was actually Metal. I think iron.
You could say he invented "deaf" Metal
Technically, you’re right. He constantly used the Harmonic Minor scale, mashed Diminished arpeggios together, and overall gave off an eerie or minor tone a lot of the time. So technically yes, he was very “Metal”. But I would call him neoclassical Metal more than anything tbh.
I got a Queen vibe from Beethoven
This was an amazing medley. It makes me wonder how classical music and rock music are closely tied with each other! All classical songs matched really well with the electric guitar and it was beautiful!
in-cre-di-ble talent :) what a beautiful way to perform immortal classic works. Thank you so much!
2:10 is much much better than any ordinary metal song. That thrash metal drumming suits it so well. Just awesome.

That's not thrash metal drumming though, it's too slow.

It's the D major chord with a minor 6th. So he plays the notes D, D (octave higher), Bb (minor 6th), and A. The sound is pretty good I agree.

Just listen to Dark Moor Vivaldi's winter u won't be disappointed
After one year, but is done
Not only exquisite playing but the transitions are just perfect
I know I'm getting old when I recognize many of these classical songs from the Looney Tunes cartoons, and "Flight of the Bumblebee" from the Green Hornet television series.
On a side note, this goes to show that in music, everything changes, but nothing changes. Metal is basically Bach and Vivaldi with distortion.
1:38 - Beethoven was real genius, he exceeded his times - he's written hard rock music, but didn't have proper tools to play it in his times
1:54 - Rossini on the other hand has written intro to Iron Maiden's "Trooper" ;)
Rossini one is totally dio's holy diver intro at a faster pace
Paganini was the shred God
Poor Beethoven ☹️
Try looking up Sarah Longfield's latest endeavor. She's moving from to a "traditional" guitar driven sound to a modular (sonically far reaching) set-up alongside the genre/scene that she's in. Very exciting stuff.
Enjoy.
What is beethoven's composition name?
Why is Robert Plant playing the guitar ??
Cause he can
I thought he looked alot like a blonde Brian May
JAJSJQJSA
He's Guthrie Govan man, wake up
Hahahaha omg that made me laugh
I was first introduced to your skill and creativity with your indian metal fusion songs, but I am quickly realizing your creativity and skill is very broad and encompassing. I quite enjoy every single thing I have heard from you so far!
This video is perfect. Not only metal covers are on point but transitions between them are top notch as well.
My grandpa has a collection of more than 800 classical music LP. He knows one by one of the musicians. Vivaldi is his favorite, for sure. I just sent this video to him, I would love to put a screenshot of his response, but he basically texted me: " H O L Y S H I T, if Vivaldi could see this, he would probably get heart attack, this is amazing! "
That makes me happy!
Vivaldi was a true rock star!😍
Classic and rock are both of my favorite genre.
such a perfect combination

If you really think that you need to listen to more classical. The whole approach to music is fundamentally different; not the notes, but the intention and the expression. With metal I feel that the music is only there as a means of delivering the metalness. In classical the music has far greater scope.
This is far closer to the classical approach than than any metal, and in less than four minutes it probably has more variety of mood, expression and sound than most metal albums.

Classical music is entirely more complex than rock/metal, unless we're talking about Prog. Plus there are no loud drums and cymbals on classical music. I'm a metalhead myself, but putting those loud metal drums over classical compositions just feel completely out of place, disconnected from the music. It's annoying.
