    Feyutech G6 Max Panasonic Shutter release: TYPE C to DC2.5
    Good evening, I wanted to kindly ask you if you have any site to suggest to me for the purchase of a TYPE C to DC2.5mm cable, (CAMERA CONTROL VIA WIRE) practically like the one supplied with the G6 Max gimbal, naturally compatible with the panasonic lumix g7 - gh5.
    Thanks for your helpful inf.

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I generally never advice using remote control cable with any gimbal. Simply using controls on the camera is easier and more convenient overall.

    Thanks for the review....I recently bought this gimbal and I think its amazing.....I own a Sony a6400 and all the sigma 1.4 lenses........I also bought an L bracket for the camera because there did not seem to be enough weight in my set up to counterbalance the weight of the lenses when balancing the gimbal....It works great now.

    I just received my G6 Max and plan to use it with the Sony A6600 and Sony 16-50mm kit lens. If I were on a trip and wanted to use a strap to help carry the Camera/Gimbal rig when I am not shooting; what would be the best idea?

    I have a sony 6400 w/ Sigma 30mm lens (no stabilization on both items). Do you think its overkill to get a weebill s? A lot of gimbals have micro shakes / jitters if you camera does not have any built in stabilization, so im curious if buying the weebill s will be any better than a g6 max.

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weebill S is better choice for that combination, 30mm is not so easy to stabilize as wide angle lenses.

    Hi I am real estate photographer trying to get into real estate videography. Can this be used with my canon 80d and my wide angle lens of 10-18mm? (Weight -960gms).
    If not his then what would be the next cheapest yet sturdy gimbal for real estate videography? I have a gopro hero6 black and its linear wide angle will be helpful along with the g6 gimble but I am a bit uncertain on the quality of video from gopro on the professional level. • @ckdesignlab
    @ckdesignlab 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well... I decided to return my FeiyuTech G6 Max. I really wanted to love it but I consistently had problems with this gimbal. First off, the knobs are way too difficult to adjust. Once I figured out the best steps to balance my gimbal I really loved it but adjusting the knobs was a real pain. The app is average at best and I continually had problems updating the firmware on the gimbal. It would tell me there was an update, then I would install it. That was fine. But then it said I needed to update the keyboard firmware which I did, but then it went back and said I needed to update the gimbal firmware. So, basically the app was useless for updates. I also tried using the joystick in the app but it never worked.
    The build quality of the gimbal is really good and overall I was happy with the LCD screen, but again the software was confusing. Different abbreviations were used for the modes and made no sense. I'm assuming the translation from Chinese to English was the problem. When panning the gimbal would also jitter sometimes when trying to adjust balance. It wasn't too bad but definitely noticeable. The joystick was really great and worked well and the all focus mode was my favorite. For the price, this is a great beginner gimbal but I wanted something that could handle a bigger payload and was a better quality. I cannot recommend the gimbal as it really seems like it is a half-baked product and was rushed to market. I am seriously considering the Zhiyun-Tech Weebill-S which is only $130 more.

  • @bobgriffin316
    @bobgriffin316 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How is the battery doing after a year of usage? How long will the battery last? The battery cannot be replaced unlike the Feiyu Tech G6 Plus. I expect that you have to throw the whole gimbal away once the battery cannot charge anymore. Is there a way around this? Can the battery be replaced somehow?

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way around it is slow charging, ideally not to 100% and correct storage. The battery will easily outlast the rest of the gimbal if you do that. Battery can be replaces in the service center.
