Caravan manufacturers consider standards as optional. They consider AS2513 and AS4177.5 as “guidelines” rather Australian Standards. The thing you need to remember is that PIN2 is or Reverse Lights and PIN9 is AUX; and that PIN3 and PIN10 need thick enough wire to earth the combined loads of 1-7 and 8-12 respectively. Also Remember that the 12-pin plug can not handle more than 30A over the length of a vehicle+trailer. Any usable power needs to be provided over (an) Anderson Plug(s), otherwise you will melt your trailer plug.
