INCREDIBLE 3.5 years Singing Transformation (a true story you won't believe)

  • This is a video of my decade-long journey through vocal training and singing lessons that have lead to me to where I am now - a singer and vocal coach. I hope, if nothing else, this video inspires some of you to continue on your journey to vocal mastery. Just when you think to give up, push on!
I started learning how to sing in June 2017, and I had a vocal coach from the get go, because I believed strongly that having a coach is the key to helping get fast results. I didn't want to spend years figuring out a proper vocal technique to help me sing well... But little did I know that getting a vocal coach doesn't mean everything.
It's about finding a good one, someone who truly knows what moves the needle when it comes to improving someone's singing.
Long story short, I was told to "support from my diaphragm" and "relax as I sing higher" amongst other advices like "you need to train your chest voice first, and then try to blend it with your head voice to get your mixed voice" (what the fuck is that supposed to mean?)
But I was never told the real secret to singing high notes well, which is really about getting the fuck out of my low stubborn and heavy chest voice placement,
and accessing my Complete Mixed Voice™ Placement fast, so that the high notes which are already "within me" can be unlocked quickly, and my mixed voice stops playing hide and seek with me, and so that I can access my mixed voice as and when I WANT TO.
It wasn't until the end of 2019 / start of 2020 when I first heard the idea of ultilising a higher placement to sing my high notes.
And when I first unlocked my high Complete Mixed Voice™ Placement in the first half of 2020 (around the lockdown period), it's a strange feeling I can't explain, but when I found it occasionally, high notes just felt so easy to sing.
Fast forward to today, after working with 7 vocal coaches in 2020 ALONE,
I finally formulated the Complete Mixed Voice™ Placement, a high placement that allows most guys to access their high notes FAST, without spending years doing pointless vocal exercises all over TH-cam.
Would you like to find out how?

The fact that you performed on stage even though you were still bad was proof that you don't need talent to sing, you need confidence and dedication. Such an inspiring video!

That video is sooo inspiring! I started one year ago, and I feel like being at the stage you were in may 2020, it gives me hope haha! It's weird, it feels like someday I can get my mix well (even though a bit tensed) and some other days I don't! I think I need to let myself sing more in head voice to get the placement!

Oh my God…, absolutely the best vid!! Your Honesty and Authenticity spoke directly to me… wow yea you’re soo right about most TH-cam transformation videos are people who aren’t actually that bad to begin with… but the fact that you were generous enough to share the raw truth of yourself of how bad you were to start with …. That takes heaps of courage..) but it also is just sooo super inspiring to see what you have achieved - that’s actual REAL TRANSFORMATION = totally awesome - thanks heaps for sharing…. I actually never comment on videos but I just really want to say thanks soo much for sharing this video , as a 43 year old who just singing lessons a year ago this was exactly what I needed to hear and I think I’ll be thinking of you every time I need a dose of inspiration 😘

damn, I'm still young and about a year into singing I found out that I was using my head voice and throat to force higher notes. Sang like shit, now I sing with more of my chest and sing songs that require a lower range and I improved drastically compared to when I was forcing myself. Still got long ways to go and I haven't really found my voice yet but I'm slowly working up to figuring out what suits me . You inspired me today nd I hope you continue to do so for others
