It costs me 45k now it’s around 55-60k for sequential kit. CNG is used around 80% of cylinder capacity. E.g. my cylinder is of 14kgs but actually it can accommodate 10-11kgs depending on pressure of pump… this is done purposely for safety. When turn on CNG it takes 100% CNG and no petrol is used. There is no much difference you feel in power in Vento as it’s 1.6L engine. Always use system G in petrol for flawless performance of car.

Yes. Vento require expert CNG mechanic for installation. I suggest you should go to greenglobe in Mumbai where I did. They set automatic conversion at RPM of 2000 which allows proper engine warmup before switching from Petrol to CNG in morning. I’m happy with its performance.

Good question. In lower gears the mileage of vento drops drastically. I’ve experienced the same from 18.5 on highway to 5.8 in bumper to bumper traffic. Mixed mileage of 11-12 in city+ highway. Regarding switching to petrol.... this is done only to check mileage on CNG and cover maximum distance. As there was no CNG pump in Aurangabad and also towards on the way to Nashik from Aurangabad. I crossed city on petrol. If CNG pumps are available in city it’s economical over petrol.

In city bumper to bumper traffic an JVLR I got 18km per Kg vs. 5-8 kmpl with petrol. Highway got 30+ km/kg if you drive carefully and at any condition will be more than 25 km/kg of CNG. On same road I got 18.5 kmpl with petrol. Mix highway and city petrol average is 12kmpl. And on CNG really don’t calculate as it’s very cheaper compared to petrol.
It’s good. In fact best as per my experience. In morning drive car for 1-2 kms on petrol and switch to CNG or else there will be knocking. This is bcoz CNG burns above 70 degree and petrol can burn at any temperature.
rishabh rastogi Good observation. The warning light is of ABS can be seen. That is in Yellow colour and it was due to fault of sensor in rear wheel. If it is red it’s dangerous to drive. There was no difference in driving.

Thats great. Yes if its complete highway run. Magical figure is easy with vinto. I got max 320 km in 10kgs. But not recorded the same. Keep it up.
