She’s only African American Miss Universe Brook Lee and R’bonney are Asia Pacific Islander Miss Universe and No Hispanic American to win Miss Universe yet with Nia Sanchez the Highest point of Hispanic America as 1st runner up with another Latina from Colombia Paulina Vega wins
I like mis Botswana and Angola most. They are really humble and beautiful not like other beauty queen who looked so proud after winning. I really admire these black beauties.
Leila's win is more monumental than people realize in the middle of the Trump era dominated by the Latinas where black women were overlooked. I still haven't gotten over the snub of Dominican Republic and Colombia in 2002 two Afro Latinas who were favorites for the crown but didn't place.
The gaps were crazy. 25 years for the first one, 18 years for the second one. Shorter time span in the 90s plus a back to back, 12 years after Mpule's win, and a 8 year gap before Zozi's win. I am not saying black women should win every year but there were many black women who were overlooked in the past years going back to 1952 when black women weren't even allowed to compete.
If she were alive she'd probably say not to put her on this list. She gave several interviews that she's not only black, but biracial and wanted to be known as that. Which is true, so technically there are only 5 1/2 black Miss Universes not 6.
@@misstee101 she and the Bushes US Presidents were born in the end of the U.S. coast that now lives in Texas she was born in the US west coast the Bushes US Presidents in the east coast
Exactly! She gave several interviews that she didn't want to be known only as black, but she wanted to be known as biracial. Which is what she is. So I've always said that there are 5 1/2 black Miss Universes not 6.
Please stop the bullshit. If Chelsea Smith isn't "black" (socio-political and cultural identity not a literal color on a painter's palette), then no one is black.
Janelle literally looks like a Disney princess here
Trinidad & Tobago twice 🇹🇹
And both are gorgeous
And one Miss World too.
Not bad for a small island.
Ues and we came up hight at other time 3rd 5th 10th etc qe are in the first 20 top countries
Zozibini is and will always be my favorite. ❤❤❤ So beautiful, original, charming, elegant and most importantly authentic.
Black to black queens in 1998 and 1999
Janelle, Wendy, Leila and Mpule are so gorgeous!
Zozi sooo pretty too
Mpule Kwelagobe from Botswana adds to the list
They are all beautiful
All of them are favourite!
ALL are my favorites!!!
RIP Chelsi Smith 🇺🇸 😔

Angola 🇦🇴

Leila Lopes the most black beauty
She made all of Trinidad and tobago proud, and pave the for black woman globally
I wish 3rd Trinidadian Miss Universe is South Asian
Leila Lopes is ridiculously gorgeous. She's a vision... Stunning... Almost unreal... ❤❤❤
Janelle and Leila ❤
I like mis Botswana and Angola most. They are really humble and beautiful not like other beauty queen who looked so proud after winning. I really admire these black beauties.

I agree with you

Miss universe first crown South Africa.

Chelsi Smith, numéro uno in my book
Where's Zuleyka Rivera (Miss Universo 2006)? Did someone remember hers, because I consider hers Black Beauty too.
If Zuleyka is black then Chelsi Smith is black.
She’s only Afro Latina to win Miss Universe and for me’s she Mestiza
Chelsi Smith was from Texas, not California.
RIP Chelsi. Yes, she was from Texas.
Born in California, raised in Texas

Miss USA is not black but black and white.

@@msrain1235 USA is so racist that even if you are 1% black, you're considered black!

Obama’s mother white and he’s the 1st Black US President
Pero Trinidad y Tobago 1977, su mama era Latina de Venezuela. Entonces ???🤔
Angola and Trinidad & Tobago.
Wait only 5
1977 change time
I don't care about their skin.Everyone deserve to be a winner and they are all beautiful.skin doesn't represent brain and beauty.
It had been done before, hence I wonder why SJWs reacted like Zozibini was the first. Maybe it’s because of the hair.
2000s ????????? 2000 to 2009
If miss Philippines wasn't black you people wouldn't care and you wouldn't post this site
Black Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo is top 30 and also Miss Universe Asia
