  • Voted #1 body language professional in the world by Global Gurus. He’s advised presidents, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and G7 Prime Ministers. He's written four best-selling books on Body Language and Communication. He is a sought after speaker because he is entertaining, inspirational and educational. His TEDx talk is one such example of his work; a must see.
“It’s often not what you say-but how you say it that gets you extraordinary results”
In this interview, we cover a wide range of topics from:
-The do's and don'ts of body language,
-What we do wrong and how we unintentionally dissolve trust
    - Introvert and extrovert mindset
    - What is honest communication vs. manipulation.
    - How to be a better communicator just by changing our hands, face ...
We talk about theatre, how Mark became the leading expert in body language and how his struggle with dyslexia helped him! It's a real candid interview about the complexities of non-verbal communication.
Welcome to The Introverted Doctor, the podcast that uncovers myths, mistakes, and misconceptions that hold healthcare professionals back from living their best life at work, home, and play. Each week, Dr. Lalit Chawla will present tips and strategies that you can begin applying right away! He's a full-time Family Physician, Adjunct Professor of Medicine, International Lecture and Writer. In his former life, he was a professional Illusionist and still uses his skills in his workshops, lectures and in the clinical setting.
He incorporates magic and illusions in his lectures and teaches healthcare professionals how to use magic in a clinical setting and in the rehabilitation setting.

The thing I love about Mark is the twinkle in his eyes. Plainly loves what he does, and he makes so much sense. I have totally fallen down the Behavior Panel rabbit-hole!

Mark is brilliant, always with a twinkle in his eye. His command of language and body language, as well as being so inviting. Winning package.

The Behavior Panel brought me here. I am interested in each of the panel members' backgrounds and their different approaches or methodology/science leading to their current expertise.

How interesting! I’m a recently retired obstetrician and gynecologist. I can relate to the parallel with visual arts. Every patient that made a visit to my office was like a new audience for my performance, (and her problem and circumstances were the stage).

Mark Bowden. My favorite motion/anatomy books. Muybridge. My favorite picture books from a toddler. Degas, he really saw accurate moment -to have such an eye. Seton's anatomy books for drawing animals. Rachel Page Elliot's Dog steps. I love the way different fish move to find their place in the environment.

I find that I can read body language consciously. That said I still have an unconscious reaction to them. But I’m aware of that. It’s a weird feeling. I’ve read all marks books. Along with some others and watched hundreds of videos. Where can a person go with this knowledge and passion for body language. But not have a degree in it.

I think you can go into a trophy store and pick up a standard trophy with "World's Most Foremost Body Language Expert". For a small fee you can have your name added. There are literally dozens of people on TH-cam making a similar claim. Well I guess it at least sells books. Why do people start out with BS and then claim they will show you how to avoid it?
