I think what we need in India is: 5 days 9-5 mandatory work hours (depending on company’s work culture if they are flexible), the concept of minimum wage, and people who want to work overtime can work overtime and will be compensated with at least 50% extra pay per hour for putting in the overtime. Let me guess, he is in a big management position and doesn’t actually rely on his salary for primary income. So he says 9-9-6 culture should be implemented. Sir, will you pay your employees overtime? Or do you wanna pocket the difference?
Bullshit never give so much to a company, remember if company fails you will be jobless but the CEO will always be rich. Give only required hours to your employer and use the remaining to improve yourself or you will be stuck in the same job for years, there's 0 gain in being loyal to your employer, it's not your company, any extra profit goes to investors and Ceo's pocket.
Truer words have never been said. All these CEOs promoting 70 hrs work weeks just want to line their pockets from all the extra work put in by their employees. The employees themselves will never see a single red dime of it, and all they will be left in the end is a broken relationship with their mental health and little to no social life or family life. What good will such a work culture even do? 14 hrs work days will only serve to decrease productivity, not increase it like these people seem to be thinking.
@@sushmitaraodesaraju6330 Also skilled workers always need to upskill them or in a few years they will termed as unskilled and not fit for the job. They want skilled workers to work like labour. Does these people know what these families go through. Do they know the suicide rate of students of these dis-oriented family go through. Forget everything, what is the disparity of wealth rich and poor in India. Can they keep minimum needed money and give the rest to the development of the nation?
Towards the end Kunal contradicts himself. He doesn't like celebration culture and doesn't want teams to celebrate small wins. Then he goes on to say that recognition is a core human trait. Well if you are empathetic enough, you'd know that people crave recognition. The bar can go higher and higher but that doesn't mean that people will work without recognition till they meet your bar of excellence.

Having to spend too much on customer acquisition compels you to give yourself crazy valuations and then I'm sure Cred will have a down round like paytm..

How much ouput will the employees create for each extra rupee that they are paid? Also, hiring more employees for the same amount of work, how would that work genius?
The more the employees slog working 12 hours a day, the more incentive the CEOs would have to downsize their employees, leading to an increased unemployment in the nation. Or, The harder the work culture here, the youth would prefer working in the developed nations, increasing the brain drain. Neither your theory nor my theory is correct. These businesses are only transferring money from investors to their pockets. They aren't creating any value whatsoever. Why would I or any sane person want to create such an enterprise.
Did this idiot pay to defend him on TH-cam? If not, what compelled to post three moronic comment?

Hello Mukesh, thank you for these conversations. Some of them are super insightful. Would it be possible to share a video of the bookshelf sometime. I can spot a few gems in there:
Euclid's Elements (one of my most favorite books)
Knuth's set
Bell's Men of Mathematics
Wolfram's Metamathematics
Rhodes' Making of the Atomic Bomb
Behave
Hooked
Shoe Dog
On Grand Strategy
Pikkety's Capital
Also see titles like Habit, No Filter, Work Rules, Invent and Wander etc.
Thank you!
You have a keen eye, such a great observation of the books in the library! A lot of people have shown interest in a book tour, so the team is currently planning to shoot this. We'll publish something soon, stay tuned.
@sparkx ppl, can you please get MS Dhoni on the podcast? Really want to understand his perspective on leadership.
That's a great suggestion, who better to interview on leadership than Captain Cool? We'll plan something around this.
@@sparxbymukeshbansalPlease ask Dhoni why he is selling and investing in Gambling business..from poker to dream11, why he is hell bent on ripping the own people of our country. He endorses Army honorary rank, has massive youth and children admiration, and then he is sliding Gambling to them, Is that what everything was about, Money ? I hate Dhoni, his real face is Selling gambling and making Money. He insulted all the love, respect, pride this Nation gave him. Same with Kohli, Sachin, Shahrukh why no one questions them. Why no one asks hard embarassing question on their face ? What is their take ? How gambling business work ? Why they endorse owners ?
Please ask Kunal too is CRED a gambling lending app ? What is the revenue % from lending loans ?
Let me guess, he is in a big management position and doesn’t actually rely on his salary for primary income. So he says 9-9-6 culture should be implemented. Sir, will you pay your employees overtime? Or do you wanna pocket the difference?
You only get what you contribute towards the company.
Always remember when you move to your next company they'll not be asking how many hours you put in everyday but what skills do you have that is relevant to the present market demand.
First create a product which can help India, then you can ask everyone to work 70 hours...
Why can't u make a product...what is the valuation of ur company..how much profit is ur company making..
Toh bhai kyu bheek magne jate ho inke company mai.. democracy hai chod do company koi jabardasti thode hai...and by the way what is the valuation of ur company..aapke company ne kitna profit kamaya hai...
I'm not asking others to work 70 hours, since I became Team lead I don't even let my team mates work long hours or on weekends, still the world is running 😂
What is these business people hiding under the carpet? Spend less money get more work from single person. Let them give the data of how this will improve unemployment. Do they know how many people in industry work more than 80hrs a day. Do Murthy know that all the managers estimate their employee based on how many hours they work. Does these people know what these families go through. Do they know the suicide rate of students of these dis-oriented family go through. Forget everything, what is the disparity of wealth rich and poor in India. Can they keep minimum needed money and give the rest to the development of the nation?

Most awaited - Enjoyed it thoroughly 👍
Towards the end Kunal contradicts himself. He doesn't like celebration culture and doesn't want teams to celebrate small wins. Then he goes on to say that recognition is a core human trait. Well if you are empathetic enough, you'd know that people crave recognition. The bar can go higher and higher but that doesn't mean that people will work without recognition till they meet your bar of excellence.
@@reactdev71717 good one i like your sarcasm.
This guy's company just recorded 1,300 cr loss and he wants people to work 70hr per week without promising better pay . China grew because it had highly skilled worker in large number working and getting much better pay then Indian's .

Great OGs of modern business 👏 👌 👍 Intelligent Minds...
How much of Kunal shahs success is owed to his theories / insights and how much of it is owed to aggressive advertisement. If you have that kinda money, you can even advertise that cancer is good and people must have cancer etc...
So therefore after all this bullshitv about insights better product etc, let Kunal have the humility to accept that it took crazy valuations and crazy customer acquisition cost to reach out and acquire customers
Having to spend too much on customer acquisition compels you to give yourself crazy valuations and then I'm sure Cred will have a down round like paytm..
well its safe to bet on Kunal Shah's success than your arguments. PREACH!

I like that there is a bundle of all volumes of Art of Programming - Donald Knuth behind Kunal bhai which is still in its packaging. I don't think anyone in the studio would ever dare to even try to study that! 🤣
Kunal's getting fit!
Lipsing and voiceover could have matched.
People are in abundance in india, hire more people build new offices or work from home and pay them well through this we can be the so called blood sucked developed nation...fact is you dont want more people hired to keep the employees on the edge by showing the unemps...
How much ouput will the employees create for each extra rupee that they are paid?
Also, hiring more employees for the same amount of work, how would that work genius?
I think these people must donate their wealth for the development of nation will they do nahh
All of you are wondering why you have so many people in your team, and all of us are wondering why we need Cred app on our phone
The more the employees slog working 12 hours a day, the more incentive the CEOs would have to downsize their employees, leading to an increased unemployment in the nation.
Or,
The harder the work culture here, the youth would prefer working in the developed nations, increasing the brain drain.
Neither your theory nor my theory is correct. The point i try to make is that: its easy to theorize things as per your convenience in the name of patriotism to impose your propaganda.
can you create some content around creating company culture 🥺
Importance of free time -- yes required
Work like a machine -- yes required
Very contrasting! Perhaps he intended that it is possible at different stages of life or make a choice and then expect accordingly
Also sounding very much like a society uncle in some of the bits. Maybe age does that.
Does anybody knows what percentage of CRED revenue is from lending ? Loans ? Is Cred a Gambling loan app manipulating user behaviour ?
There is no employee in china who likes 996 work culture except billionaires and politicians who likes to work for themselves and expects citizens to work in the same way for them. We should better throw such people out of this system. Beggar running a loss making company on VC funds
If u want to become the Virat Kohli , srk , Elon or Akshay Kumar...then u have to sacrifice a lot of things..like ur lifestyle etc..u can't be millionaire or successful entrepreneur by working 40 hr a week ...u can't have six pack and chole bhature together ,u have to sacrifice it...

Kunal was good but he considers himself as mature person is a problem. No mature person confronts that he/she is mature by themselves. Maturity is a not a stop but a process the day you claim to be mature sounds you stopped learning different perspective of what life offers.

70 hrs work per week what bogas concept talking first of all just improve labour law of this country and secondly people are already working over time in private company and company does not give them there credit if also people will start working in more pressure profit will only be in company pocket not in employees and lastly we should improve our work quality not quantity
And for the record work life balance is not western culture. Grow up. See the reality. Health is wealth not crore money in your pocket. Insaan hi nahi rahega to ghanta economy
