Hi mam!My friend who is from kerala, she use to prepare this ela ada for tea time snack.while waching this video I remembered our golden old memories. Tq very much for taking me to those days.
When I was travelling from tnvl to trichy in train with my wife, there was another couple sitting in our compartment..They gave us this stuff...it was very tasty..Actually they are from kaniyakumari...thanks again for the couple...This video made me to remember that incident
Thank you Mam for all your healthy recipes. I have tried most of them. This Ele Adda recipe is made in most parts of our country with slight variations and bear different names. In Odisha we wrap the addas with turmeric leaves instead of banana leaves and we call it HALDI PITHA meaning Turmeric pancake or you can call it Turmeric Adda. Try this you will surely love this healthy Turmeric fragramented Addas.
I just love your recipies...i am a Konkani and i also had a desire to eat traditional south indian food but never could i get access to some good south indian outlet but your channel i feel south india has come into my kitchen ....it's so good to have u....may u be granted the best of both worlds from the almighty...thank u so much for sharing with love🥰
Nice recipe mam. In odisha we make similar type with turmeric leave. You can also try in fresh turmeric leaves. It gives nice aroma. Can you plz suggest an easiest method of gratting coconut quickly.
This recipe would be excellent if we get turmeric plant leaves...just give a try...thank you for sharing the recipe with banana leaf..I would try this...
This is the Indian version of a Mexican tamal. So interesting how every country uses their ingredients and somehow have similar food. Instead of rice flour tamales are made of Maseca which is made from corn. And they are wrapped in banana leaves or corn husks depending on the region. And stuffed with different meat, vegetables or even sweet ones. And they are also steamed.
Thank you for sharing the yummy healthy ela Ada recipe... One of my favourite evening snacks... Also please let me knw the stainless steel idly steamer that you are using.. Thanks in advance
