    If Mass Effect Legendary Edition makes you dust off your Xbox 360 or made you grab the game on PC, you'll find that the multiplayer is still a solid player base even in 2022.
    I made this guide to help new and returning players get up to speed quickly.
    Let me know what build you like to run in the comments!

    This guy using the Particle Rifle combined with decoy maxed for shields/max weapon damage is a beast. You stay perma cloaked and allows you to charge up the gun while they shoot at your decoy/drone.

      That is such an awesome idea, I have to try it

    By far my favorite Volus is the Engineer, and it is actually low-key powerful. The Volus can also be particularly effective when facing the Banshee, as while he is extremely vulnerable to the Banshee Fatality move, he actually make make for a good "Aggro Tank" and keep the Banshee pre-occupied. Whenever the Banshee launches her Warp Ball at a Volus, they can roll to the side... or better yet, pop their Heavy Melee Defense Shield and effectively block the damage the Banshee does. The minor shield boosting the Defense Shield does, seems to cancel or overright the small bit of DoT that Warp leaves on the Volus. And when things get hairy you can always cloak up and just GTFO.
    Something not everyone seems to be aware of, is that the Volus "light Melee" Cloak actually has two separate Cloaks, with separate Cooldowns, One for standing still and walking, and the Other when Running. This means you can effectively stay cloaked nearly permenantly if you can keep alternating between the two cloaks as they come off cooldown.

    Oh shit! People are still playing the ME3 Multiplayer? Here I was thinking it died, might wind up hopping back on

      Understandable, honestly im surprised EA missed an opportunity to get that loot box money again in the legendary edition.

    Hey TechN4ra, I first commented on another one of your vids earlier this week. YT never showed me your channel until now, slowly working my way through your ME3 MP vids. I love the quality of what you produce - the build screens are super clean. Is that a snapshot from some kind of website tool?
    I've always gone back to Darcblade's ME3 guides and N7SPECOPS vids, glad to find a fresh ME3 channel. Would love to go into matches with you sometime if you're down for playing with a total stranger. I played on 360 back in the day, now on PC, which means redoing the whole grind. Still have a lot of things I've yet to unlock.
    Volus Engi -- I've always gravitated towards the Adept and especially the Vanguard (instant transmission to any enemy pressuring an ally and Shield Boost them), really appreciated the explanation on how to make the Engi viable. Not my typical playstyle but you've made it look appealing, may have to give it a try!

      So the screenshots I use for the builds are from kalence.com. I have links in the description of all my videos for the website. It's really cool, and I believe some folks are working on a new version of it.
      Waaay back in the day I used to watch darcblade too. I'll definitely think about playing with more folks in the future, most of the time I just matchmake with random folks.
      And I'm a big fan of the volus engineer, it's probably the single best healer in the game, and if you pair him with the geth Juggernaut, you can cheese some easy wins on gold, and potentially even plat

      @@TechN4ra It's so awesome of you to not only reply, but just about IMMEDIATELY after I made my comment. Darcblade stans unite! Thanks for the site link, maybe if I paid attention I'd have had it already!
      I'm Rayan Stiger in the game. Mostly playing in Silver these days primarily from having difficulty finding Gold matches, also because I don't have high enough quality gear to play Gold with most of my characters except the Juggernaut. Hope to drop into a match with you sometime.

    The class I just don't get. I've seen people do work with him but he's always been in that camp of "what he can do, others do better"
    I like the idea of agro drop but it's not going to work on against all factions. I think I prefer Salarian or Human Engineer. Have the pet + 1/2 Offensive powers.

    • @TechN4ra
      @TechN4ra  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Honestly, when I first looked at the class I thought it wouldn't be that good. But after having played it, it really shines in the right circumstances. It's pretty good as a support, if you are topping your teams scores you probably aren't having a good time. Plus your pets are pretty faction specific.
      Other engineers are definitely better at carrying via damage/kills.

      @@TechN4ra "if you are topping your teams scores you probably aren't having a good time"
      Ain't that the truth. This little guy has the lowest DPS of any character as far as I can tell.
      Yeah, I wouldn't take this guy into an Unknown/Unknown situation. Maybe against Geth/Cerberus.

    • @TechN4ra
      @TechN4ra  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Capta1nAsh I will say even though it's damage is pretty low, you can have really good CC. If you have a teammate with high dps, you can work very well together.
      It's kinda one of those cases where it's really good in it's niche, and I never mind playing with one. To me that's better than something like the drell vanguard that doesn't really excel at anything.

    • @Capta1nAsh
      @Capta1nAsh ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TechN4ra Might be a good class for being carried. Like if you're looking for credits and have some friends that don't mind dragging you through some Golds/Plats. You can support and sit back and not feel guilty for living at the bottom of the scoreboard.
      My go-to setup for "I ain't got shit" is Human Sentinel. Tech Armour, Warp and Incendiary Ammo Avenger. I did my first PS3 Platinum on stream 3 months ago doing this. Didn't score high, but I didn't feel useless :)
      I actually like the Drell Vanguard. Think it's better than the Asari Vanguard for the "Charge and Spam Grenades" gameplay style. But Asari with 4 points of Stasis is way more useful.

    • @TechN4ra
      @TechN4ra  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I thought the human sentinel was pretty solid too. My comfort pick is the human engineer.
      And I haven't tried the asari vanguard extensively, ill have to get back to you on that!
