That conversation with Anderson is totally by far the most emotional one. And the mod really improved it by adding the "settling down after the war" dialogue.
I think the bit that hits the hardest is the fully restored conversation between Anderson and Shep. Really, really wish that hadn't been cut. That was... that was something special.
I wish this was the ending you could only get if you had 100% war assets. It would be a satisfying “true” ending but also leave the option for less satisfying endings if you made poor choices
Yes I dig the concept "work for your happy ending" in games. Many games hide the happy ending behind 100% completition and I think is a good reward for the player to go out of their way to get those.
@@NataliaNeeSama Also I like some of the less happy options in the game. I never let 100% of all squadmates survive the suicide mission in ME2 simply because its more interesting imo if things go wrong. Try to make Shepard a little flawed

This mod is actually amazing. I don't have a PC so I'm stuck with the original endings, but I'm just gonna pretend this ending is canon and the citadel DLC will be the last part I playthrough.
I didn’t mind the original ending, but I think because I just saw it differently. I took the entire game to be the end. So your choices did matter. There were so many story arcs that you got to see the end of and make a choice about what matters. Krogan vs Salarian and going into that the genophage, Wrex alive or dead, Mordin curing or not Geth vs quarians and all the choices that entail. And so on. I mean the game did a great job of tying those end points up and giving a nice conclusion. The only part it really struggled with was the reaper conclusion. That is the biggest issue so it is fair to get upset about it. But I always thought they kind of painted themselves into a corner with that story anyway. No matter what route they went I think it would have felt disappointing. So for me I just enjoy the game for the conclusion of all the different characters. And take the reapers to be the ending that happens when a MacGuffin is finally caught.
Hi Big Dan! Thanks so much for the mod review. I've made a few mods in the past (like A Lot of Videos) but this is the first actual review I've gotten! Just a couple of things to clarify: We added in forward compatibility for Joker and Thane romances. So if a mod releases in the future that allows you to romance Joker (which is currently in development: shoutout to Hatboy Project) or Thane, as long as the romance flag is set to active within the save, they will appear for the hug during the memorial scene. The other thing is that the Stargazer scene is disabled by default in AHEM, but when the Citadel Epilogue Mod is released, that scene will act as a transition into the Citadel DLC. Thanks again for the review!
You sir, are a legend. This mod is outstanding and gives many of the fans the conclusion they deserved. As a lowly console gamer I won’t ever get to experience the mod first hand, but with TH-cam videos like this and your own I finally have my canon ending. Thank you. Those PC gamers lucky enough to use the mod and the forthcoming Citadel epilogue mod are in for a real treat. Exactly how the game SHOULD have ended. Now if the community could somehow convince BioWare and EA to incorporate the mod as a patch into all versions of the game that would be spectacular. Thanks again.
I don’t have the trilogy for my computer but once I do I’m gonna get this mod and kiss you on the mouth with tongue, an appropriate reward for saving this game
@@Deathlordalmighty There isn't a mod that changes that yet, but my point was that if a mod like that was made, then it would automatically work with AHEM because we set up functionality. That's what I mean by forward compatibility.
It's the best ME mod period and it became my cannon. This is the ending we should have gotten. Audemus needs a purple heart for rescuing ME from its horrible endings.
I don't know. The only reason this mod ending seems satisfying now is because we're comparing it to the incredibly crap original EC ending. But imagine if we never got that original ending, and instead Bioware would've given us this mod ending, we would've still been disappointed, just not as much as originally. To me the only possible path that would satisfy me is ending the Reaper war in a Suicide Mission style final mission in which your team can die based on loyalty missions and other decisions, blowing Harbinger into a million pieces, and finally free roam mode in which you can visit any known place in the galaxy (Earth, Citadel, Omega, Illium, etc), ME2 style.
@@excitedme530 Well I made a video about this idea in 2013, its still on my channel, though I doubt it will ever reach Bioware, or maybe it has and they just don't plan on following that blueprint. Don't forget to read the description if you ever check it out.
@@DesertStateInEU I don't mind the ME3 ending in principle (thought I very much _do_ mind the execution) because I like a sense of finality to my games. I can see both sides, though.
@@DesertStateInEU I think that's a good analysis. This mod makes the best of a bad situation, but I think it's beyond the reach of even talented mod-makers to fulfill Bioware's promise that the player's cumulative choices would somehow matter. That said, this mod at least removes the "Starchild," which is the first step for curing the ills of the ending. What the hell got into Bioware with that decision I will never understand.
@@narnianwarrior7493 If it was "perfect", they wouldn't have needed to release an update to it after the fan outcry. It was effectively the Game of Thrones Season 8 of its day - all the decisions you made across all 3 games were effectively pointless. Synthesis was the only decent ending and in it your Shepard is dead and you effectively force a change on everything living in the Galaxy without their knowledge or permission. The Starchild was a confusing and pointless plot device to explain a convoluted ending choice that made no sense. If I could choose between this mod or any of the "canon" endings, I'd go with this mod 10 out of 10 times. I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree.
I think even had this been the ending, people still would have been upset. Bioware was probably stuck because they knew they had to offer drastically different endings depending on player choice. I always chose synthesis to save EDI and the geth, and to prevent future reaper evolution. But most players chose the destroy ending.
@@FumetsuGolf the game was great, the atmosphere was inspiring hopelessness, and the ending reflected that. If a comet was heading our way and would crash on earth tomorrow, your whole life choices wouldn't change a thing. People who made those mods did an amazing job! It's even better than the one they did back on 2012! There's just one little mistake they did back then, and it's still on this one: Anderson's line about not having kids. Back on ME2, the shadow broker's dossier on Anderson says he has a son XD Aside that, it's perfect!
That's not Anderson's son. His wife remarried and had a son with that man, and Anderson just remained friends with her and became a role model for her son because he's a big war hero.
@@AudemusN7 didn't know that ☺️ Where did you get that info? The shadow broker's dossier did not mention that... At least I don't remember it like that...
Add this with the Take Earth Back mod for a truly wonderful ending to the series. Hopefully soon we'll see the Citadel Epilogue Mod (being worked on I believe) make it to LE, making the Citadel DLC the epilogue to the whole game.
@@ecrulis6954 It would make more sense as well since partying like that and Brooks' whole plan makes far less sense when there's a Reaper invasion going on.

As someone just getting into modding ME. More mod highlights please. I know anyone can just look at top downloaded and find accepted good ones but actually seeing what they change is really nice.
If you’re on MELE, try EGM. Adds a lot of new content, locations, and new options. You could also try ME2 combat remastered. Makes most guns viable, and all distinct from each other. There are a few mods that change textures, like ME3 armor for ME1. And Tali remastered, which gives her a fully functional face, and scripts. (Which is nice because I romance Tali.) Last mod I’d suggest is the ME3 patch. It’s required for all the options in EGM. So you’ll have installed it anyway. Good luck with the mods!
I'm very glad this exists, even though I'll probably never get to use it. I play on console lol. But at the same time it kinda makes me sad just because of how little was actually changed, they just restored some cut content, deleted some bs stuff, and did some minor tweaks to ending slides. It just shows how easy it would've been for bioware to give us a satisfying ending to one of the greatest series of games ever made. This is what should've been in the base game for legendary edition.
MEHE + Citadel Epilogue is the cannon ending for my Shepard. Beautiful because it still gives you closure but still optimistic, like you imagine Shepard flying off with the crew, on to some other mission.
I find this mod makes the memorial wall scene more touching than the original. Anderson is one of my favorite characters and seeing shep tearfully place his card on it truly makes the scene better.
Damn shame this mod skips the scene with the Stargazer. I always loved that last cutscene, especially since Buzz Aldrin of all people voices the Stargazer. I think it puts a nice bow on the trilogy and ties everything back into the wonders of space travel that made us fascinated with Mass Effect and sci-fi in general in the first place
If you use it alongside the Citadel Epilogue Mod (also by Audemus), you can pretend that the Citadel DLC is the "one more story" the stargazer is talking about.
I can only imagine when Anderson says, "come here." He holds Shepard like the child he always wanted, a child he wanted to love like a father but just then finally got a chance to hold his kid. Anderson raised us Shepards and I feel he taught us lessons that many of us never got to learn from our fathers. Thank you, Admiral Anderson.
I don't think Shepard had to survive the ending for it to be good but I'll take this over what we got any day of the week. AHEM combined with the Take Earth Back mod made the ending not only tolerable but rather enjoyable! Imagine seeing all the groups you've brought together over 3 games in the final fight and charging toward the beam with Elcor, Geth Prime, Anderson, etc. and then docking the crucible and wiping out all Reapers. No ambiguity, uncertainty, unleashing additional apocalyptic scenarios, or Star Brat. Good times
Yeah I always felt that Shepard dying was the most fitting end to such a story. But what I like about this is that the mass relays stayed intact. I always felt the mass relays being destroyed made for a sad galaxy. All the worldbuilding and diversity of species interactions in the game, would've been cut off from each other after the ending. Felt like the whole game was about different species and backgrounds working together, only to have them all separated forever is not a choice I understood the meaning of for an ending.
This mod is even better than the original "happy ending" mod. The sole fact that they actually recruited Keith David and other voice actors (or just masterfully synthesized their voices) to record their extended lines is astonishing and worth all the support!
@@BlaineTog Exactly, personally I didn’t hate any of the endings. I think the control and synthesis endings are fine alternatives. What gets me though is the destroy ending, most of us probably pick this one, and it feels wrong that despite even if we do everything right by resolving peace with the Geth and Quarians and getting our TMS score as high as possible, all synthetics are wiped out, and Shepard will die unless your TMS is high. It feels strange that a series where it rewards you for going above and beyond, it forgets that in the end of the trilogy. I still love this series to death though. lol
In my head , after this ending, there is a Final Cut scene (it will only be triggered if all squad mates are alive and Kaiden/Ashley rejoin your crew): Shepard, now promoted to admiral, is overseeing the reconstruction of the citadel. Ashley/Kaiden joins them and talk about all that happened so far, and now that the reapers are gone there will be peace, but they know it will not last forever. All the sudden, shepard receives a report, shares them with Ashley/Kaiden (who are surprised and worried for what they read) and are ordered by Shepard to take command of the Normandy and go to investigate. Scene ends with the Normandy and it’s crew flying away to find new adventures.
Just finished ME3 LE with this ending and I have to give my upmost respect to the creators. What an ending...what an ending! Thank you so much. You can feel the passion in every scene. Wonderful.
That last shot of the memorial wall always puts a lump in my throat, I know it's out of character but I would not have complained if they had Shepard shed tears
I was debating using this mod. Thanks for showing it. This is my head canon ending. With as many gut punches as this trilogy can have, I feel like a happy ending is warranted. Kind of hard to do multiple plays when you know there never really is a chance for a genuinely happy ending.
I've always been conflicted with the original/extended ME3 ending. I'm ok with Shepard dying... if the mix of choices/readiness led it that way. But there should've been conditions for him to survive. But really... getting a single ending where basically the color of the explosion was the difference negated the choices players spent years making across 3 legendary games was the culprit of the hate the ending got. Oh, that and the Star Child and space magic thing. I hereby proclaim I'll take this ending as canon. Not that it'll make any difference...
Even though these changes might be small it honestly adds alot that I feel we needed tbh, to be honest if I had to replace the ending I would of preferred this gives me closure knowing my Shepard is able to settle down now with there significant other and the fight is over for a legend
The more attention brought to this amazing fix of a mod the better. Mods like this are one of the main reasons I'm so glad to have a gaming PC. Only way I can enjoy one of my favorite gaming franchises fully. They should follow Bethesda's lead and allow mods on consoles so everyone can be saved from that confounding disappointment of an original ending.
Oh my goodness! I had never seen this! That scene with Shepard and Anderson...... 😭**sniff** So many feels. 🥺 Thank you for sharing this with us Dan. ❤Fantastic mod! Thank you to the creators!
Been waiting 10 years for Bioware to change that trash ending (even the DLC ending didn't do any justice). Massive thanks to the modders making that dream come true 👏🏾👏🏾💙
Amazing that what would probably be considered a plane ending is a way better ending then what we actually got. I think the writers were a bit to caught up in the idea of blowing our minds over giving us something satisfying
@@narnianwarrior7493 What matters is player choice. Dragon Age Origins respected player choice, why couldn't Mass Effect 3? Not to mention none of our choices and actions over 3 games had consequences at the end.
it's a similar story with TLJ i think, where it wanted to challange the past and subvert expectations but ended up forgetting about the writting to back it up
100%. First game ended with Shepard basically beating down Sovereign's avatar. Shep charged a yahg and punched it in the face. I really like the synthesis ending. The themes of synthetics and organics in ME2/3 finding understanding in each other, speartipped with the Joker/Edi ship and climaxed by them becoming one at the end.
I absolutely love this mod, I'm not someone who necessarily hates the vanilla endings + catalyst, but I do prefer a happy ending for Shepard... also, the mod page for AHEM mentions having permission to port over the Citadel Epilogue Mod to be partnered with AHEM (but until CEM is ported over you can keep the Stargazer scene in via the mod settings menu) I'm surprised you didn't mention CEM being mentioned on the mod page, as I was really wondering if you'd cover that when it gets ported over, as well as maybe the FemShep v BroShep mod for the Citadel DLC as well? Awesome video by the way, I think this is the first video of yours that I've commented on :D
I recently completed the entire Mass Effect LE a couple days ago. Now I understand what all the fuss was about in 2012 about ME3's endings. God, they did the third game so dirty
It was WORSE, man. No final squad conversation, they just vanished after the beam run. No narrated slideshow. No flying-off scene, credits just rolled when Joker and friends stepped out of the Normandy. I don't even think there was the memorial scene with Shepard getting put up on the wall.
I think this is pretty much the definitive way to finish the 3rd game. Just waiting for an update on the Citadel DLC mod that lets you play it AFTER this ending. Unless that has come out already, and I am just slow to it 🤔
I thought this was going to be dumb, but it's actually pretty good. I only play console, so I won't be able to do it personally, but this seems like a better pure Paragon ending than what people got. I was never a big hater of the RGB endings, but I do think players deserved a more solid W if they did everything right.
That’s SO good! That scene with Anderson actually made me cry, especially the bit about how proud your kids would be, telling everyone their mom (in my case) is Commander Shepard. Dang, this mod is fantastic. I’d love to be able to install this on my Xbox. Considering that, from what I hear, it’s basically a PC on the inside with a different UI, I wouldn’t imagine it’d be TOO hard… not that I know how to do any of that myself.
Tali is the best girl afterall. Followed closely by Liara. The idea of a little blue Shepard running around the universe is adorable but Tali was the dorky friend who grew up and you suddenly noticed you can't live without her.
Simply amazing! It's been like 10 years but for such a fix (and one I didn't think was ever possible and from fans no less) it's perfect. Throwing in that star brat was like when the matrix reloaded threw in the architect but worse because it was at the very end. I remember this horrible ending sticking with me. I rushed through it late at night into the AM even though I had work (at my first job) in the morning and I remember (and I know it sounds ridiculous) feeling utterly depressed throughout the day the amazing trilogy I played and grew with had such a terrible ending. I replayed the trilogy multiple times thinking maybe if I got more resources I could unlock an at least decent ending I even played that extended ending (if you could call it that) bioware came out with shortly later due to fan outcry but it still felt hollow and empty. This looks more along the lines of what we should have got and I am glad it was able to come to fruition. I don't have much faith in ME4 with the current bioware however with this fan made mod I at least have closure to one of my all time favorite rpg series!
To this day I'm still BAFFLED by the design choices for the "canon" endings. Were all the writers going through a divorce or something when they got to the endings? Just... how can a project that was so well-written and nuanced up to the very end take such a left turn in the final scene? All of the options are such... downers. Either commit synthetic genocide, become the gun pointed at the head of the universe, or use space magic to alter the fabric of reality without anyone's consent. And then when fans asked Bioware for a better option, they answered with the story equivalent of a middle finger. It's like they hated the fanbase and wanted us to know it. I just don't get it.
Supposedly - the ending with the star child and the whole 'this is what reapers are for - and these are your choices" were done by one guy who more or less stonewalled any feedback from the rest of the writers.
@@lissaquon607 But yet, the whole team stands by it. Whenever questioned (it might be angry now, but it was honest questions back then) they stood by the damned endings. I just don’t get why.
Mass Effect 3’s final treatment heralded the oncoming of shit game writers to the industry. First they just sucked at their jobs, then they wanted to shove their real life with beliefs into the game, then they hated the game and wanted to mock every player base. Even today. Mass Effect Legendary Edition released a year or two ago? There was known interesting content that was cut (for one example, ever feel Admiral Xen seems a bit cut? In Mass3, after the Quarian war ended, she would have gone to the citadel, and started abducting citizens, performing all sorts of horrific crimes and creating monstrosities, being a person needed to be taken down.) Why the heck was ZERO effort made to create it for the LEGENDARY EDITION??? (Also final petty note, they ‘lost the DLC coding’??? WTF it’s on the bloody internet, pirated a million f*cking times and even in the code of a version they sold on EA. Why the f*ck wouldn’t you just take the code out from there???)
Considering how bad the next game was afterwards, my guess is yes, they either got brainwashed by EA to give the middle finger to fans while cashing our dollars on buying the franchise games or they just simply don't care anymore for whatever personal reason. Either way its also reason why when Legendary Edition came out, I didn't bother buying it simply because I don't want to give EA any more of my dollars.
@@Norinia The real sin is ME2. Originally there was going to be no fixed order for recruitment. I've even heard you would recruit Legion first on your way out of the Cerberus base, which would explain why he has dialogue for every single mission in the game even though you get him after the final time limit starts. All because of the Xbox 360 being shit.
In the reworked memorial scene, they replaced Anderson’s original name plate with “Ad astra, per aspera.” Latin for “Through hardships to the stars" Such a fitting sum up of the entire trilogy journey!
This mod restored my faith in the mass effect series. I really wish the game creators would seriously take a look at what they produced and do better. This modded ending was the ending I was expecting. Why else would I spend all my time gathering assets if not for a chance at victory...??? Good job to the makers. Loved it!!!
"No longer space magic" is such a crucial point. Mass Effect had always existed firmly in the realm of science fiction but the crucible pivoted hard towards science fantasy. That rubbed everyone the wrong way, even if they didn't consciously realise it. Great change!
So glad these mods keep coming. I will probably install it after my first rerun of ME3. I also like how compatibility is available in a timely manner. Modding has come so far and glad Bioware didn't make it nearly impossible to do. I am curious to see if they take some of these ideas for 5. Since with destroy we get a scene with Shepard gasping for air in the game before the LE edition. Love your videos and thinking of jumping into Andromeda to see if I can get through it. I'll probably even stream it to. I am also going to run the multiple romance mod in my fem playthrough of ME2 and ME3. I wonder if it will conflict with it so we shall see.
Keep in mind people, literally no video games ending is talked about to great lengths like this... about how incredibly awful it was that decades later people are literally still fixing it.
I think one more thing would have helped. When Anderson asks about settling down have Shepard mention their love interest. Like "Tali would be great parent, but I'm not sure I'll be good at it." a last detail for the moment.
The problem is that the mod is just using existing content that was simply cut from the game. The mod isn't adding newly recorded dialogue to that scene.
I might just replay ME3 with this mod so I can fix the bad mark it left on my heart. Finally, a home on Rannoch is in sight. Definitely among the best narrative fixes to a game I’ve ever seen.
Man, I was gonna keep legendary edition as my 'untouched' mass effect and use my originals as my modded games but the change to this one might actually change my mind on this one. The original was great but the added voice lines were a bit jarring. This one seems a lot more natural. Seriously though, this should have been the ending and just varied outcomes depending on renegade, paragon, high ems etc. That's a true choices matter ending.
you choices mattered throughout the entire game....i mean this entirely earnestly, because i really can't wrap my head around it....what is with the 'the choices never mattered' crowd. i seriously don't understand. what choices didn't matter? you mentioned paragon/renegade scores. is that what you wanted to affect the end...not your actual roleplay, the number? i mean..the number itself has several moments where it does have a dramatic effect, specifically in what options you're able to take. options that ultimately can change a ton about how the game ends. but like...did you want the end of the game to somehow reflect shepards personal view? but seriously like...i don't see how coices didn't matter.
@@sillyking1991 i absolutely agree with you that the choices mattered throughout the game. My point is that all the decisions made through out the trilogy don't really matter to the end game. Regardless of what actions are taken, or not taken, the end game doesn't change. You have 4 options which are available to you regardless of what decisions have been made. The thing is, mass effect 3 actually does what I mean during the game. The geth/quarian war is a perfect example. You can genuinely get shut out of saving an entire race if you've made a poor decision. It would have been so easy to do with the current endings as well. Using choices like saving the collector base and giving legion to cerberus could have factored into the availability of the control ending for example. Or if the ems was low enough you literally wouldn't even be able to get to the crucible. I can't say I have any hatred of the ending like others do but it just feels like a hollow send off when the rest of the game works hard to give you more meaningful choices.
@@FunnyLilNightmare my main problem is that you don’t get to know what happened immediately after the ending. Did the crew find shepard? What happened to his LE? Right now it’s up to your imagination that yeah shepard survived and reunited with whoever his/her LE was. Witcher 3 did a lot better with giving closure to the story and what happened to the characters.
while the synthesis ending _looks_ really stupid (hooray everything is green now) EDI's speech really made me content with this final conclusion. After such a big trial, the defeat of the reapers, the unification of the galaxy something new needs to happen. an evolutionary scale of development for all the species in the galaxy. The galaxy became one and Shepard became one with everything they loved, their crew, their ship and the galaxy they defended. They also became part of their love interest which in all other endings, you just leave them behind. In my latest playthrough I romanced Garrus, and when EDI hugs him at the end it was just the right amount of feels for such an epic journey. The destroy ending just stranded everyone on earth and killed every cyborg, synthetic and currently spaceborne, which would ensure the destruction of this current galactic civilization and without the reapers repairing the mass effect relays, it is not sure a spacefaring civilization will ever see the light of day again in the milky way. The control ending is just a return to status quo, the reapers repair the relays and then piss off back to dark space, and even with paragon Shepard as their .exe who knows if the cycle truely ends.
The Anderson scene was like jesus that was a gut punch, leagues above the shallow one in vanilla, the only thing i thought that wouldve completed it is anderson finishing off his sentence about not having kids, with something to the effect of "but you were the closest thing i ever had to a son" to shepard Also, the old man talking to his son i think wouldve been fine, by default i got the vibes of "this happened like 100 years from now" from how they reference shepard and say it was a long time ago, but i also got the vibes that it was like, joker or hackett that was the old man
It's compatible. All of the modders of these really big mods generally work together to make sure everything works together. Edit: What an awful sentence I just made! lol
Yep it's fully compatible. I was part of the TEB dev team so we would've made a patch if needed, but TEB doesn't make any changes to the game after you leave London so it wasn't necessary.
This is something what I was hoping for Bioware to do themselves with the ME: Legendary Edition, because it was the perfect opportunity for them to reimagine that OG ending. If the modders can do this big of a change for free, I don't see why multi-billion$ company couldn't do it.
Because they didn't feel the need to? Artists/Studios don't need to succumb to the whim of every single fan. I personally like the endings just the way they are.

This mod is actually amazing. I don't have a PC so I'm stuck with the original endings, but I'm just gonna pretend this ending is canon and the citadel DLC will be the last part I playthrough.
Is there no way to mod the game for PS4, I got the same problem :/
@@zionzed3664 consoles don't have mod support, but I always choose control Ending as my canon
I really wish this was the true ending
Same, playing through (again) on PS5 but not gaming pc. Sad that this is so much better than what we got
I didn’t mind the original ending, but I think because I just saw it differently. I took the entire game to be the end. So your choices did matter. There were so many story arcs that you got to see the end of and make a choice about what matters.
Krogan vs Salarian and going into that the genophage, Wrex alive or dead, Mordin curing or not
Geth vs quarians and all the choices that entail.
How does Thane appear for the hug? Doesn't he die no matter what you do, or is there a mod that changes that?
@@Deathlordalmighty There isn't a mod that changes that yet, but my point was that if a mod like that was made, then it would automatically work with AHEM because we set up functionality. That's what I mean by forward compatibility.

It's the best ME mod period and it became my cannon. This is the ending we should have gotten. Audemus needs a purple heart for rescuing ME from its horrible endings.

That ending looks so much better than what we got in the OG game.
This could have been a satisfying end to ME3. The current ending could have been good with a few changes as well.
@@DesertStateInEU this, the ME2 end mission was perfect for ME3, such a missed oppurtunity and sadly cant be fixed with any mods
This mod shows how easy it would have been to make a satisfying conclusion to the ME series. It's really a shame they went in the direction they did.
The REAL ending is perfect.

People who made those mods did an amazing job! It's even better than the one they did back on 2012!
There's just one little mistake they did back then, and it's still on this one: Anderson's line about not having kids.
Back on ME2, the shadow broker's dossier on Anderson says he has a son XD
Aside that, it's perfect!
That too is something that could be corrected by a mod. Maybe in the ME2LE community patch once it releases?

@@sadas3190 Yeah sure.
Still, it is funny. XD

Y'alls too stupid to spell "canon" or what?
I find this mod makes the memorial wall scene more touching than the original. Anderson is one of my favorite characters and seeing shep tearfully place his card on it truly makes the scene better.
Damn shame this mod skips the scene with the Stargazer. I always loved that last cutscene, especially since Buzz Aldrin of all people voices the Stargazer. I think it puts a nice bow on the trilogy and ties everything back into the wonders of space travel that made us fascinated with Mass Effect and sci-fi in general in the first place
It's disabled by default but it can be easily turned back on in the mod settings menu. I personally have it enabled :)
@@AudemusN7 Oh great - because ... Buzz Aldrin
@@AudemusN7 Yep, just installed it and saw this setting. Thanks for including that
If you use it alongside the Citadel Epilogue Mod (also by Audemus), you can pretend that the Citadel DLC is the "one more story" the stargazer is talking about.
An ending with Tali as romance is indeed the Happy Ending!
Thank you for having quality taste and showcasing Tali for that scene. She's the superior choice.
RIP Dadmiral Anderson o7
I really like how all the human companions are wearing their formal attire in honor of Anderson.
This mod was the ending we deserved :') I literally cried playing it, I just felt so fulfilled.
That "I'm proud of you. You did good son." from Anderson always has me chopping onions. One of the few times an entertainment medium made me cry.
There is a difference between "did good son" and "did good, son", and only one of those you'd want.
The sole fact that they actually recruited Keith David and other voice actors (or just masterfully synthesized their voices) to record their extended lines is astonishing and worth all the support!
im fairly certian that last conversation is actual cut dioluage and scene that were in the game files.

@@CelestialDraconis Good point.
I still love this series to death though. lol
This is fantastic!!
Also, I refuse to call the God Child the Star Child. There is only one Star Child, and that’s Paul Stanley! 🎸 ⭐️
For me it's canon now. If, by chance, I'll ever meet the author I swear hugs will be given. Only reason to go past Marauder Shields.
I don't know why but I get goosebumps when I hear the crew trying to search for Shepherd
In my head , after this ending, there is a Final Cut scene (it will only be triggered if all squad mates are alive and Kaiden/Ashley rejoin your crew):
Shepard, now promoted to admiral, is overseeing the reconstruction of the citadel.
This ending is waaaaaay better than any of those 3 endings in the game. Props to mod or mods who created this👊🏿
This is LITERALLY how the perfect ending should have been
I was debating using this mod.

The music, seeing the emotion of adnersons death on the characters really shows how amazing this really is. Worth it just for that.
I’ve never heard of this!! Can’t wait to play again and see it this way.
The TRUE cannon ending
In the reworked memorial scene, they replaced Anderson’s original name plate with “Ad astra, per aspera.”
Latin for “Through hardships to the stars"
Such a fitting sum up of the entire trilogy journey!
I never had a problem with it.
I have played with the older happy ending mod but this one seems great...I'll try it out for my next playthrough. Thanks
I Cried after these endings. I got so attached to characters and the story but it all just died. It felt as if all 4 base endings were terrible.
So glad these mods keep coming. I will probably install it after my first rerun of ME3. I also like how compatibility is available in a timely manner. Modding has come so far and glad Bioware didn't make it nearly impossible to do. I am curious to see if they take some of these ideas for 5.

Man this mod deserves its place as one of the mandatory ones. So many options and so much polish. Truly a great work.
The Anderson scene was like jesus that was a gut punch, leagues above the shallow one in vanilla, the only thing i thought that wouldve completed it is anderson finishing off his sentence about not having kids, with something to the effect of "but you were the closest thing i ever had to a son" to shepard
Also, the old man talking to his son i think wouldve been fine, by default i got the vibes of "this happened like 100 years from now" from how they reference shepard and say it was a long time ago, but i also got the vibes that it was like, joker or hackett that was the old man
Is this compatible with Take Earth Back? Those two together really feel like a great cinematic story.
It's compatible. All of the modders of these really big mods generally work together to make sure everything works together.
Edit: What an awful sentence I just made! lol
@@ZatarainLeRice I'll allow it.
Yep it's fully compatible. I was part of the TEB dev team so we would've made a patch if needed, but TEB doesn't make any changes to the game after you leave London so it wasn't necessary.
Holy balls, thanks for the heads up Dan, gearing up to replay the trilogy and I will definitely use this one! =)
@@jamesramos5442 Well, it is universally agreed by the fans that those OG endings were terrible.
@@jordick8427 Again... I'm here and I'm a fan. So your use of the term universal is hyperbolic at best.
@@jamesramos5442 To be fair, before the Extended Cut DLC, the original endings were terrible. It really was just a choice of whether you preferred red, green, or blue.
@@FalenDragmire I never hated the endings as much as most people but I do agree, they improved greatly after the update. But I think part of the reason I don't fall in line with the majority is because I actually love the Paragon synthesis ending.
i played with that Mod Amazing work this should've been the Actual Official ending
