    * India became a partner of WEF annual summit in 2006.
    * without any formal agenda
    *subject - fourth industrial revolution

Abhinav Praksh correclty pointed out about Congress - Socialist rhetoric just to appeal to the masses rather than true steps towards development and empowerment

Every discussions on jobless growth should be replaced by education in India.
One cannot hold degree from Pappu Lal college of engineering and cry about no jobs.
If any section which needs a disruption, it's education system.
Pass the HECI bill, give them autonomy based on their performance, check the mushrooming of substandard institutions and update the syllabus for God's sake.
We cannot afford to miss the train for the 4th industrial revolution at any cost. Period.

4th industrial revolution.....kind of a hypothesis......and even it's not it will be based on automation and AI which for a country like India will be detrimental for it's uneducated and excess of labour force; evironment won't sustain any industrial revolution and will ultimately reduce humans time on Earth by decades.

    • @Anon-e7f

@@deepanshugupta9144 Machine learning, IOT, driverless vehicles, advance search algorithms, 3D printers etc are part of even 4th IR. It's a reality, update your notes.
5G will be the foundation that'll further materialize, commercialize and popularize the revolution.
Secondly, the concern about the jobs, well, what it'll disrupt is the low-level equilibrium which no one likes to be in but just for debate we put this point.
This will have a capitalization effect in which there'll be demands for new goods and services thereby creating new occupation, businesses and industries.
But to harness this opportunity correctly, the focus should be on the education, academia-industry linkages and skilling of the current labour force.
*Challenges* (like infrastructure bottlenecks, red tapes etc) *are there but so are opportunities* (demographic dividends which will be easy to skilled).
As far as the environment goes, it'll help the conservation efforts and increase life expectancy of humans with bio-tech, green energy, e-vehicles, GMOs mechanization of agricultural etc rather than destroying environment and reducing humans' time on Earth.
Although, there will be major problem of the mounting e-waste which is disastrous.

I don't believe in making notes.. first things first the things and technology that u mentioned are part of 4th industrial revolution are booming but they won't create a revolution as they are already in existence.when u say revolution it means a sudden and massive shift in way of working than what is being in coorporate now.
Secondly the job creation due to ur alleged 4th industrial revolution will create jobs temporarily .the machines that we make will ultimately make us jobless.
Thirdly I appreciate ur optimism about job creation and environment but a country doesn't on optimism . With the amount of energy that will be required for the alleged 4th industrial revolution where will that come from. Renewabale energy is still are very small.percentage of total energy consumption which means energy will come from fossil fuels unless ur 4th industrial revolution can work on sea water.

Whosoever the party is in the power 1st think about growth and development of the country and then about political rivalries among other parties. As Chankya in his text Arthshastra said that Yath Raja tath Praja. If the government give importance to other things like name change policy , radicalisation on the name of religion then the citizens also follow the same step rather than growth, development, employment, health, education etc.

Investment in education and skill development is like what we are listening since we were born, Man! Demographic Dividend (DD) was the thing which people used to say like 2 decades ago that India have opportunities to cultivate dividend. REALITY IS THAT WE ARE THE DEMOGRAPHIC DIVIDEND OF INDIA. JOBLESS AND PRONE TO DO A CRIME AND THE IRONY IS THE PERSON WHO IS RUNNING AFTER US ( POLICE OR IPS) IS ONLY 2 OR 3 MARKS SMARTER THAN US. SO SUMMARY IS INDIA HAD POTENTIAL, INDIA HAS POTENTIAL AND INDIA WILL HAVE POTENTIAL.

In short -1st step is to bring modi back.
The idea of agricultural exports has to be taken forward. We have the cheapest food products. For this logistical infra is needed.
We have so many bogus colleges producing sub standard labour force. That has to change.

Western countries started to close their doors... India should grab as much investment as possible before world shut down in few decades.. Most countries which are turning to protectionism are due to the broadening inequalities among them... India will also face these scenarios in future decades. Before this thing going to happen we should lift up the status of below poverty people by some major social empowerment schemes.
We should also focus on more vocational courses in every developing sector on our educational system by leaving more focus on prevailing MARKS, Ranks based system.
