At exactly 4 minutes I realized I will never actually understand or care for this story. And I have well over 1600 hrs in game.
I find it hilarious that Flameheart was just like in the sky watching us the whole time during Pirate’s Life and basically after seeing us go to and from the sea of the damned and was like 👁👄👁

Correct if im wrong but i remember the tall tale revealing that flameheart a long time ago terrorized the sea of thieves and people were dying so the ferryman sacrificed himself and his ship to help bring pirates back from the dead to fight flameheart and thats how flameheart lost.

Given what we know about the Gold Hoarder’s skull, and the veil stones he’s using for eyes, is it possible that the skull on the Pirate Lord’s staff is also holding veil stones? And this is how he’s still “alive”?
The reason why he's still "alive" is the Necklace he wears
As the gold hoarder's skull possesses some power as we now know from the adventure, it may be likely that it was stolen after the Shores of Gold tall tale and somehow screwed back on to the Gold Hoarder's head before the A Pirate's Life tall tales. Wouldn't be surprised tbh, but it doesn't sound right.
While this is funny, is it possible you can maybe do a non-abriged version?

Of course because hit reg is amongst the LIST of bugs and issues in the game currently. Until the game performs proper there will be nonstop complaints.
The game was better in beta and y1 and y2 . Less bugs. Less whiners . Less complaints and reports . More people playing no runners everyone understood how the game was designed and didn't complain . These days it's nothing but a dead game combined with a cry fest on almost every page you can find .

Just noticed the pirate lords cane has a skull with veil stone eyes just like the gold hoarder. If I’m right those are what were the ability for the dark brethren’s new staff to allow world travel, so could the stones on Ramsey’s cane be how he controls the devils shroud or even allow the same travel to the sea of the damned

So dunno if it means anything but after watching you it probably does but all the structures around the shores of plenty so far all I've seen all the random structures that would usually just have a chair and a barrel that looked pretty run down and old all of a sudden have been fixed up with nice little palm leaves as a roof don't know if it means anything but you might wanna check it out
I’m not a pirate lord but I’ve sunk 23 reapers and 47 skeleton ships you’ve probably sank more but I’m proud.

Thank You. I am new to commenting on your channel. But I have noted some very odd things about the of the Sea of Thieves. Not the game per se, but the environs..
First: Gold is really worthless. Kind of like having a bag of pennies and shopping in the cosmetics section at a Walmart here in America. That's odd. Only thing you can by are "pretties".
Second: The "Sea" of thieves is actually more like the "Puddle of Thieves". I was thinking to myself, as I sailed about, that I could never see much of a "drop" on the horizon. Ships never seem to dissappear over the horizon. They fade with distance, sure, but there doesn't seem to be a horizon. So I used my recently acquired "Captains Log" and did a little test. I sailed across the map, and recorded far less than 20 miles "at sea". omg. The whole thing can be dropped into Lake Superior and you still wouldn't touch the shores.
And I thought, Why? And a LOT of "why" began intruding on my mind as my sloop bobbed up and down across the Sea of Thieves
Why is gold so worthless?
Why is the sea so small?
Why do I have to battle PIRATES all the time.? A real Pirate doesn't attack other Pirates. No profit margine, but then since Gold has no value there is no "profit" motive at all, once you have the appearnce you like best.
Why don't I have fat unarmed Merchant ships to attack and loot? Then I remembered. Capt Ramsey "found" the Sea of Thieves while fleeing something called "The Grand Unified Merchant Alliance". Then it began to dawn on me. Ramsey is the only one who holds the key to getting in and OUT of the Sea of Thieves. Getting out and back to a world where Gold has Value and getting rich means something.
And then I realized the horrible truth. The Sea of Thieves is not a haven for Pirates to hide from The Grand Unified Merchant Alliance. The Grand Unirfied Merchant Allieance CREATED IT!. It is tiny and puddle like, not because of any limts of the creators, it is small and cramped by design. Gold has no value by design. And, ONE man has the key by design. There is only one thing that fits that design criteria. A Penal Colony, a jail, a giant penetentiary.
The Sea of Thieves is The Grand Unified Merchant Alliances Peanl Colony and Capt. Ramsey, the One Time Pirate Lord is its WARDEN!.
My Son has found a cite that claims the physical location of The Sea of Thieves on the real Earth is in the Arafura Sea North East of Port Darwin Austrailia. This convinces even more, since Australia's original colony at Botany Bay was a Penal Colony, and in those days The Great Barrier Reef was nigh as hard to get through as The Shroud.
No wonder the Reapers are so Angry. They know the Secret and They Want Out. Was not Flameheart once on Capt Ramsey's crew?

My theory on statues is that they are like empty machines meaning to lure pirates in using the gemstones. If you stay close at them you take damage it's like they are teleporting the pirates inside the actual statues underwater that cook them. Or just sucking you in them but then we would all be sirens.
So when a pirate breaks one it doesn't let anyone free, instead just breaks the trap that creates them and get the gem which either is there as a bait or a part that is needed for the trap to work.

The Burning Blade? You mean the Death Starfish, as it’s straight ripped off from monkey island’s LeChuck and his ghost ship in the river of lava underneath melee island. Just google it and have a look

the shrouded ghost is real... I have video footage of me failing to kill it which took place just after the brig first came out. my other two crew mates had signed off for the night and I sailed my ship toward a nearby skeleton galleon intending to go out in a blaze of glory, but I ended up defeating them. back then a skeleton ship was a top tier loot score so i dropped the anchor to collect my loot before the brig sailed past and it was lost in darkness.. then, as if sensing the perfect moment to strike, it appeared, ghostly white, eyes blood red, with me all by myself, pants around my ankles. for a whole day and night cycle we battled but my supplies dwindled and neither my friends nor random sailors joined my open crew. in the end I was not able to repair my ship quickly enough to get the anchor back up and I jumped into the water to get some footage of the beast as my vessel sank. I have searched for it ever since, to no avail.
Maybe they captured merric bc he knows stuff about the meg and maybe they want them to kill the fish

Yeah, making good lore is definitly not Rare's strong point xD originally they weren't planning on doing any lore, and having a pure sandbox. I can see why. But it's ok, the game is still awesome.

Do we know how long it was from when Graymarrow sunk the Morningstar until we came along and did our stuff in the shores of gold tall tales?
Well, In Athenas Fortune (the novel) Greymarrow was flesh and bone. We know that when Greymarrow defeated the Morningstar he was cursed. But we also know this happened before us, as players, got here. Not sure on the timeline itself, but all this happened before us scurvy dogs got here.

@@CaptainFalcore However in the song bosun bill it was said that after bill found a massive hoard of treasure he but so much on his ship and then sank because he had too much on board. This is kinda similar to how Rathbone discovered tribute peak and pit so much on his ship that it nearly sank before being sunk by Eli Slate and Mercia. At the end of the song has the lyrics that he “let out a terrible curse.” Maybe this could be like Rathbone becoming a skeleton lord. I don’t think Bosun Bill is the Gold Hoarder but it think it might be reasonable to think that he is a representation of him. This may be ridiculous as this literally is a shower thought

A Pirates Life was cool but they didn’t fit it in well with the existing story. I mean we don’t know what happened to Wanda, Flame Heart just let a bunch of stuff go on without interference, and Pendragons entire involvement and capabilities make 0 sense.
