In this video we are going to convert our bicycle to an electric bike by using brushless motor.
This homemade electric bike can cross 60 km/h with a range of 20km on a single charge. The bicycle is powered by a brushless motor that we took from an old hoverboard. The motor is connected to the rear wheel using chain.
To power the motor we have used a 3kw BLDC motor controller and for the battery pack we have designed and built our own lithium ion battery packs.

Your bike looks fantastic. Those 3d printed parts make it look great and sorting the wires out was a great improvement. I have seen a few bikes that can go really fast and i really like them. I'd love to see one that goes fast enough but can go a huge range. Maybe have a small bike trailer for more battery storage. Keep up the good videos, they are very helpfull.

The only thing is having that motor spinning so close to your feet could be dangerous.
So perhaps some kind of cover to protect your feet and legs.

Congratulations on an amazing project. You sure know a lot about efficiency..Raise the seat up a bit to show what a giant you are! Be very very careful of clothing or shoe strings getting caught up in the sprockets and chain.
hi, you're bike go with 72 v ? because you connect in serie 36+ 36= 72v

did you make the fitting to the pedals on the motor? or can you buy them online?
you could try a gear changing setup and that will increase mileage and speed whilst less battery consumption to this setup

That is definitely insane put in the car alternator and converting it That is pretty awesome I got a challenge for you If you could do that with the car will or I should say can you make the rims magnetic without spokes and run on magnetic They did it to a train in China or Japan one of the 2 if they could do it to a train then you could do it to an ebike and see what you can do

That’s so fucking smart to do 84 V I think he said because those wheels are rated for 36 so you can use so much less amperage to get the same amount of work
I'm very surprised that the hoverboard motor makes that much torque and speed. What brand, model hoverboard did it come off of? And what size sprocket was used on the rear wheel? Well whatever was used, it looks like it was perfect for allowing plenty of speed and plenty of torque also. But please reply if you can answer my questions. Thanks!!

I've an idea for your this DIY electric bike series. Consider using a hub motor of 250watts on the front wheel while keeping the pedals intact. In this way you can make a hybrid bike
