Difficult to miss someone who you’ve never even met at all Dimebag Darrell would’ve been my father’s age if Dime was still amongst the living Rock In Peace 🎸 Dime and Vinnie
Tears in my eyes streaming. My last sight of my idol was to this song and he was smiling and I thought"cool, man until next time", and I started walking out as they finished their encore. I still can't believe how fast time goes by, and how I will never have that excitement of putting something in to hear new Vinnie and Dime material. Rip my idols!
@@Metalstringman05he had kranks later on. during this part of the tour he still had randall warheads and then later when he got kranks he had dean guitars and not washburns
@@Metalstringman05in a documentary it is said that when the Krankenstein (Dimebags signature amp) was sent to Dimebag when it was finished , it was sent on a Tuesday, received on a Wednesday, received on a Thursday, and would be able to test it on Friday, sadfully, the night was on Thursday. I’m not sure if those are exactly the days, but it’s something like that
Damageplan was so much better than given credit for. I get Pantera fans being attached to Phil and Rex. But they shouldn't have been playing little hole-in-the-wall clubs, they should have been playing proper venues. That debut album was really really great. Classic Dime & Vinnie. And Pat had some pipes, he really did the classic stuff justice at a time where Phils voice was already blown to shreds. Work made me miss the Cincinnati Damageplan show (where the murderer did a test run) and that would have been my only chance ever to see Dime. I hate that when Dime passed he was feeling pretty down that so many fans were upset, turning their backs on him & just not willing to give them a chance. Feeling that they had to play these bars starting over to win over a new fanbase. How deflating that must have been. Dime is a certified guitar hero and one of the nicest human beings ever on this planet. With Vinnie gone I think any hope of ever hearing the stuff they had in the can for the second Damageplan album will never happen...and I heard Vinnie at one point say there was some really heavy stuff there but unsure he'd ever have the heart to fire up the tapes and finish the production

How we need Dime nowadays. Damn sucks he is gone.
Amazing and yet horrific to see dime only weeks away from his last days on earth. We miss you dime very much and vinnie Paul. Rip brothers of metal
I was there, it was a great show. Saw Pantera tonight w/ Lamb of God and it was not the same without him.

Thanks for sharing this!!
This looks like Davis Park. The free Damageplan concert in Rockford, Illinois.
Dime looked as if he was starting to get into the tapping world... Damn, if the dude was still here, he'd have mastered his own art of tapping by now.
There he is, the one and fucking only!
Sepember 18th 2004 is the day I was born on🤘🏻
