Calaveras Big Trees State Park has 129 campsites (in 2 campgrounds) set among a beautiful stand of towering redwood trees. North Grove campground has 70 campsites. Sites 1-18 have paved parking spurs and are best suited for RVs. Oak Hollow Campground has 52 campsites, best suited for tent camping, but some decent RV sites are also available. There are also 3 group campsites and 4 rental cabins available.
Amenities include a visitor center/camp store, water, flush toilets, hot-water showers ($), trash collection/recycling and a dump station. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. The camp store sells ice, firewood, food and supplies.

Are there streams or any on a body of water for fishing?

Hi Patty,
Yes - fishing is also good in the Stanislaus River and Beaver Creek. Both flow through Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
