Pictures just cannot do them justice. Until you stand next to one, you can't grasp how big they really are. I hope the fire doesn't take them.

You’re so right. They are absolutely massive! Even standing right next to them they seem like they can’t be real. They’re extremely well Fire adapted, and the fire helps to grow more of them, so maybe we’re fearing what could actually be good for giant sequoias as a species. Only time will tell!
