Adventures in Pike County, KY! (Pikeville, KY) Episode 3!

In this Third adventure, we visited Pikeville, KY! We started our trip off at Faithlife Market where we grabbed a coffee and talked with some friends. After we finished our coffee we took a tour of Appalachian Wireless Arena. The Appalachian Wireless Arena is a great example of the rapid economic development in Pikeville. One of the staples of the city is Dairy Cheer.
The diner is famous for its smashburgers and "tater Tuesday." We had a great view of the city from the overlook and had a birds-eye view of the Pikeville cut-through. We were able to tour Pikeville's downtown and talk with business owners like Bridgett from Bridgett's Quilting.
The adventure was concluded with a trip to The Breaks Interstate Park. The Rangers at The Breaks were not only able to share some history lessons about the area, but also some interesting information about this portion of the Appalachian mountain range.
