- For episode 5, we knew we wanted to go explore somewhere brand new that we hadn’t really been to before. After a little research and help from friends, we landed on Letcher County, KY! This trip was another overnighter, complete with a comfy stay in a beautiful local Airbnb.
We traveled all over Whitesburg and had a great time! The natural beauty was incredible and the people we met were even better.

Bad Branch Falls has to be one of the best hikes around. Can't wait to go back!!

I love the video! I'm a Letcher Co. native and think you guys did a great job showing the area. It's great to see people take an interest in an area that has admittedly been down for awhile and is finally seeing some new growth.
I lived in Whitesburg for a year and absolutely loved it there!

Lily Cornett Woods is a virgin forest and well worth a visit in the lower end of the county .

There’s also a good fourwheeler trail on the mountain above the upper end of Fishpond Lake.
We'll have to check it out when we come back!

My moms side of the family is from there Phillips and Holcomb but we unfortunately know nothing about them but my uncle and aunt is from there and still lives there
