Some of my favorite features of a project has come from a mistake I had to fix. It really makes you think and become creative. That charger looks great.
This is the first video i watch and i can see you are one rich carpenter lol and a really good one too, dont know is that is your main source of income, but where im from i dont see it possible for anyone to be able to afford so many nice things by making furniture, thats really nice and enviable.
It's insane... The whole workshop is WAY BIGGER than my whole flat. Everything seems out of anyone's league... 99% of people would also this level of DIY if they had these kind of tools handy... But the capabilities of people around me, myself included (space wise, and tools wise) are much more modest... Anyway, amazing piece of work, I'm getting many ideas from it to build my own variation for a still tighter space... Congrats!
I like the idea of having the desktop being double layered plywood because I wanted to turned my desk into an office desk/computer desk with a hutch style above my monitor instead of what you had.
if you're just making music for fun then I wouldn't worry about it. But if you're doing it professionally yeah, listening space needs to be at the 30 percent line, equi-distant from the left/right walls.
Just a tip (although the grommets and maneuverability is great) u can drill a tiny hole and unwire the plug to feed the cable through, then wire it back up once you've fed it through 😎
Awesome video! That’s a great-looking desk and the functionality is no joke. If you ever decide to tackle any kind of soundproofing for that room, I’d love to see a video on your process!
This is a very cool desk with many great features. However, I probably wouldn't put a gaming monitor at a work station since it would be to tempting...lol. Awesome Video!
Looks amazing dude, your work is so easy and relaxing to follow! This is the only way to chill after teaching teenagers the finer points of the English language. Thank you

Killer setup, brother. That was a very involved build and you threw everything but the kitchen sink at it. Just needed a little welding and you'd have flexed every maker muscle! Great work
Randomly came across this video today in my feed and watched the whole thing. Definitely subscribed to your channel now and I look forward to looking through other videos. Great work dude!
I've built probably around 5000 laminate coutertops, haha. I would suggest buying around 20 or so 1/4" dowels and use those instead of clamps. it will help prevent making small cracks worse!
Amazing! I'm surprised how many TH-cam woodworkers are also into music production. My woodworking journey actually started this last summer with me making a custom desk for production, a long, LONG time goal. Now I have a garage full of power tools lol.
Theres a router bit I believe called an oversize bit that had a larger bearing to make those cuts into the laminate to avoid those fractures. Awesome job!
@Verk Does Stuff With a more powerful VM you can pass through your CPU and GPU to the VM. The OS it's loaded on will not be struggling or producing any load (May have ~5% load on base OS) and the VM can utilize the hardware fully. Modern servers run this way. It's very common to see one server with multiple VMs on it running different OS' for different tasks.

For sure, let those mistakes become features! Thanks.
You, sir, are an inspiration to all musicians/woodworkers.
Your workshop and tools are so clean and organized! Love it! You really take care of your tools.
That workshop is beautiful... It has everything.
Hand builds a desk and then builds hand made rackmounts for the kemper - THATS A SUB! 🤘🏻
Do you also hunt your own food and grow your own produce?? Jack of all trades. This looks excellent!
How are you supposed to get that thing through the door?
That rack mount monitor stand is so brilliant I decided to copy it! I have an AxeFxIII and power conditioner as well.
Crazy effort and build. Great job man

Wow, this turned out AMAZING! Happy you have such a nice music room at your fingertips - that's gotta feel good: no barriers to creativity. -Davis
Thanks a lot! And yes, that was the goal, make it easy to make some tunes!
Love UTube
Nice video. The desk is nice. The workshop is premium.
finally someone like minded, most people have such dirty workspaces full of miss and match tools and completely unorganized, good job!
Bob Ross came down from the heavens to help you with those shelf depths. 'There are no mistakes, only happy accidents.'
Hah, indeed!
I don’t even have the means to build this. It’s just very relaxing to watch
Wow. Absolutely stunning. Really wish I had the skills you have. Great work.
Came out Awesome! The wireless charger was a great idea and a nice touch, and I'm glad that you didn't have to waste the sheet of laminate. Well done👍
Thanks a lot! And yes, would have been a little silly to chunk a $100 piece of laminate because of that crack.
This man is a wizard. Enjoyed the video but will never be able to pull something like this off, oh well!
Everything was great but those colors man
That's a pretty cool setup with unique features. Overcoming those mid project obstacles is sometimes the real fun of it! Nice job!
Thanks a lot!
I had no idea they made rack rails like that. 🤯
That gives me some ideas...
I love this video it gave me a better idea of woodwork
OMGGGG, IT'S REALY GOOOODDD
Great build. Lots of pieces and lots of information. Nice job.
Bro your tools r insane. Love iy

Taking PC master race to another level
i like how you explain every details
I love your workshop and your videos really fun and informative 2 watch.

Yep!! It'd be nice to have a sick cabinet shop just out the back, so I can whip a few things up!
Cool, and detailed video! Also nice another FSM Fan!
Great tip with the strips of plywood as stand offs at the router table. Desk looks awesome
Thanks man!
Ultimate music production desks almost never end up in corners...
Say that to Kevin Parker
Should be at the center so no problem with sound waves

What about professional head phones? And what if he has a master guy?
Doctor Bright that would be SUB-ultimate.
First video I see from this channel and I already love everything!
Yo that's a badass build! Thx for showing us all the mistakes & what u did to fix them. This happens to me ad I'm usually moving too fast lmao
My jaw is dropped... AWESOME!!!
holy smokes this is sick good job
So happy I found your channel, great videos which don't overcomplicate simple tasks which most other channels do. Awesome stuff
I want this so bad. Honestly just the music production part would be enough. I do want a gaming pc too though, but I have a PS4 though so I’m happy
Touche!! Excellent job.
nice one. I really love watching it.

Awesome build! Looks sick
This is a very cool desk with many great features. However, I probably wouldn't put a gaming monitor at a work station since it would be to tempting...lol. Awesome Video!
Hah, I don't typically work from the house, no gaming setup at my main shop office for that very reason.
Thanks! The explanations are very good!
This is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you!
Looks amazing dude, your work is so easy and relaxing to follow! This is the only way to chill after teaching teenagers the finer points of the English language. Thank you
I would've built the desk into the Murphy Bed so I could live out my life long dream of becoming a gelatinous blob, who cleans himself with a mop.
As that wireless charger hid that heinous laminate crime, I immediately thought of you. #hideyourcrimes
😂 #lifegoals

same question.

one nice thing I found out as I started working in IT is that all rack mounted network and server gear follows the same 19" system.
Impressionante, que maquinário, organização, clareza no que está fazendo...parabéns...nível ELITE !
you guys are well
organised thats why its so easy to do everything in india everything is manual
just recently they started using those table saw
Randomly came across this video today in my feed and watched the whole thing. Definitely subscribed to your channel now and I look forward to looking through other videos. Great work dude!
Thanks a lot Brad!
Great build and I love your problem solutions. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Jeff!

Nice workshop!!!
Inspiring work. Great job
That's a pretty cool table section! Love it, thinking of a similar kinda build.
Go for it!
Man i love that zm signature model you got up there!!!!
He should add LEDs in some of his builds, that would have looked awesome in this build!
It's like a L- Shaped Tetrimino in Tetris. What a good idea for gamer's table
Amazing! I'm surprised how many TH-cam woodworkers are also into music production. My woodworking journey actually started this last summer with me making a custom desk for production, a long, LONG time goal. Now I have a garage full of power tools lol.
Love it!! The plans still forthcoming? Thanks and awesome work and shop!
what are those blue clamps that you use to hold everything square?
Im jealous man, this is exactly what i would like and pictured making in the future and you made one! So cool.
I work for FastCap and i am a fellow Kemper user! Very cool to see someone with so much in common
This was amazing. Your workshop is awesome and so organized. Well done
Wow. Turned out sweet!
Man! I love your music setup. that Kemper with remote switch, Scarlett interface, and was that a Princeton amp?? Unreal!
Anyone else watching this even though you're probably just gonna buy a finished desk anyway
Absolutely 😂
Abso-ikea-lutely... In regards to the "you need basic tools part, i'd add you just need ikea a saw and a drill
Is awesome, but put the desk in a corner could be altered a little bit the sound (the reflections of the room).
Awesome!
Greeting from Russia))
Looks great man!
Damn, you have some beautiful looking guitars *~*
Nice job on the desk Jonathan and the ceiling light is so cool!
Thanks for the great content,
DC
Thanks Dan!
You should look into Hettich drawer slides/hinges!
Really fantastic! Love the racks on the monitor stand!
Love the Finnegan’s Garage shirt
Thanks, love me some Roadkill!
Theres a router bit I believe called an oversize bit that had a larger bearing to make those cuts into the laminate to avoid those fractures. Awesome job!
he split it when he was cutting out the L... not trimming it flush
Nice work.
Great video brother, those are some sweet built in's. You're the play-master after all of that, I'm sure!
Cheers!
Love the build. Love the FSM shirt too.
Great job Johnny! Thanks for sharing with us! 👌👍😎JP
Amazing Job!!!!
Great video in a great series, really enjoyed it all, good on you for showing the process of fixing the little problems and mistakes
Thanks a lot!

@@Shmeat True but VMs exist
@Verk Does Stuff lmao you're an idiot. You can set a VM to use all of your system hardware to its full potential.
I literally go to school for this.

@Verk Does Stuff check our Linus' video on his 10 gamers 1 PC. It's a lot of just trial and error to get everything to run smoothly
came to check out music gear but stayed for the craftsmanship
For anyone who needs to cut plastic/vinyl on a circular saw: if you turn the blade around it will cut a lot cleaner
This is definitely a handy tip.
Nice job!
