Melissa has to be a special talent to have managed everything while Mike was working full time jobs over all the years. Couldn’t imagine the logistics involved in raising four children, running household all while caring for Hunter’s needs. She gets an A+
My wife and I have a 7yr old daughter. She’s autistic, non verbal, not potty trained, doesn’t eat. She’s our world. We have learned very well to adapt and live life differently to ensure she’s well taken care of and watched very well. Having an autistic child is such a blessing and gives you a new perspective on life.
I am in a very similar situation as you guys. Very lucky to have the wife and family I have to do the things I love. Awesome show mike keep up the good work
Mike I have been watching you guys for quite some time now. Don't always comment as I watch on my TV at times but like I have said before you and Melissa have done a great job raising wonderful kids. Eva being a youth group leader at church is awesome. Raising children with faith is important. Mike I have to say the way you did your insulation at the cabin with the Kraft paper flaps over the stud face is the way to do it. Completes the vapor a barrier. I have seen so many homes that contractors installed the insulation and they push the insulation in and side staple to the stud. That is incorrect as far as the vapor barrier but it also compresses the insulation and you then lose R- value. Cabin is looking very nice. Love the interior wood. Stay healthy and blessed..
Mike I can’t hardly believe how good and fast that grass has came up since you planted it. Everything is looking great down in WV. Doing a great job on that T&G. It’s beautiful! It was good to see Melissa and Eva. Cool video. 👍❤️

Wow! i must say the 'Food Plot" has taken off, seems like we just watched you sowing the seed, awesome. "Team work, makes the dream work", our little family are prepping for next weeks Hurricane Milton, keeping an eye on the updates.
Beautiful mother & beautiful daughter. I meant to comment on one of your last videos when Melissia was carrying Bo around in your outdoor kitchen, she looked amazing when her hair was not put up, looked like a sexy soccer Mom! You need to praise her more, she is the rock/glue of your household.
Hi Mike, love your videos! Everytime i see the cabin and the woods around it i think about commenting the fact i think you should thin it, 1/4 to 1/3 should be removed to stimulate growth of te wood not only get higher. Also dangerous for very heavy winds if you will not thin out in the future. You should mark the good trees abd give them space by removing 1 or 2 neigboring trees. Sorry for my bad english, Greetings from Belgium!
Hi Mike, my wife and I were at the Paul Bunyan show today. What a show!!!!!! Anyway, we were looking all over for you and Melissa. Unfortunately one of the vendors told us that you weren't there this year. We have watched your videos for several years and feel like your family. Maybe next year, God willing. We're only a couple hours from Cranberry, PA. Maybe someday you could have an open house or a meet and greet. If you ever do that, I could provide a Christian mini concert. Take care. Shalom/gw ❤
I’m convinced Mike knows what he’s doing on his property (for the most part). Sure, everyone has a better idea, but is it better in everyone else’s situation? Might not be.
I was taught that when we have a bumper crop of acorns and pine cones, it means it will be a hard winter. I'd truly LOVE to see a winter like we had when I was a kid. The past few winters hubby only had to snow blow the driveway 2 or 3 times each winter. It's been like that since I got him a new BIGGER snow blower. I have to laugh at the "snow birds" who run south to get away from the snow. But surprise!!! THAT'S WHERE OUR SNOW WENT!!! LOLOL
Mike, my daughter has two boys that had challenges and what you are describing resonates with me. My wife and I were always there to help our grandchildren. It's not easy but you make the best of it and live life the best you can. That seed came in pretty thick given it was only 6 days ago. Have a great weekend :)

Whenever the summer makes it hard on the Oak tree it's species survival mode sets in and creates more acorns. Less energy from the sun and earth goes into acorn production than tree growth. Also more energy the tree produces goes unto pushing root ends deeper then when the rain comes eventually the tree is rewarded for its work and is more stable and healthy.
