She was blessed with a very rare perfectly slim body and beautiful bold facial features, and balletic training. She displayed All these magnificent fashions like no one else!!
When Hepburn was dying, she was in New York and wanted to go home to Switzerland. She was too ill to fly commercial, so Givenchy granted one of her final wishes by arranging a private jet filled with flowers for his muse and friend.
If you can not believe that you will never see another classy, iconic woman like Audrey,Elizabeth, or Marilyn...Then you must become those things that you crave to see.... And when you “let go and let God “ you will get what you want and it will be the way you are truly supposed to get it!!!

Last year, I went to Morges, Switzerland (where Audrey Hepburn lived and is buried) to see an exhibition of Hepburn's outfits designed by Hubert de Givenchy, who by the way cooperated in the organization of this exhibition. Absolutely FABULOUS! Each single item is absolutely stunning, an epitome of pure elegance and Beauty (the materials used, the colours, the cut of each garment). Each single item could even be worn today!
Wow to travel to Switzerland what was it like? And yes I'm a big big fan of Audrey Hepburn and she was one of the few women actresses who wore some of the best clothes I've ever seen in my life..
I preferred the shorter black dress she wore in Breakfast at Tiffanys with the large brim hat. But I think Audrey could have worn a black plastic bag and looked Chic! All designers strive for the Audrey look. Givenchy and Hepburn collaboration in fashion is the best ever put onto celluloid. My other favourite looks are the ones Cecil Beaton created for her in My Fair Lady. Great video! X

I love Peter O’Toole’s line in “How to Steal a Million” when he is dressing Audrey’s character in an outfit for their heist. Something to the effect of, “Let’s give Givenchy a night off”. Epic.

Anyone noticed that she always wore low heels and not those sky high stilettos that are mandatory today? A fashion icon in comfortable shoes! Way to go.
A favorite of mine is also from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" - the scene where she's rushing to get ready to go visit the prisoner at Sing Sing. George P is trying to help her find her missing shoe...."black, alligator"

Givenchy made a perfume just for her, which she wore for many years. Years later, the scent was available at high end shops; a gorgeous, light floral-- L'Interdit, the Forbidden. It was taken off, then brought back, but it was no longer like the Original.l will never understand why they make changes to something that's already perfect!?
P.S. she also wore some fabulous 1960s fashions in the great romantic comedy.drama, "Two for the Road" with the great handsome British actor Albert Finney with whom she had a brief affair with. Those iconic fashions were by designer Poco Rabanne. And in that movie also starring a 23 year old Jacqueline Bisset, Audrey wears jeans with a red sweater which was kind of new compared to the old dark navy dungarees worn by some actresses in the 1950s movies...these were more straight legged and more faded/stone washed worn with sneakers. Other fashions included a mod print mini dress and a black vinyl pant suit ...very chic and mod looking! Thanks again for sharing... will never forget her, her spirit lives on!
The number four dress is breath taking. She was beautiful. Also, Dorothy Dandridge and Elizabeth Taylor's gowns/ jewelry were so beautiful. Love the video 😍

Edith Head designed all the fashions for the rest of the cast, but Audrey had insisted on the designs of best friend Givenchy for this film. Audrey's fashions inspired by Givenchy influences fashions to this day with capri pants/cropped pants and ballet flats. She also inspired the late great beautiful Jackie Kennedy with her iconic fashions. I have a photo of Jackie in the 1950s after she married JFK where she's wearing a similar Audrey outfit and holding the leash of her big black poodle with her hair cut short ala Audrey. Very similar to the scene from the classic Sabrina where Audrey returns from Paris with her short hair, white hat, black suit holding her black poodle by a leash! I'm sure Jackie saw that movie and obviously inspired her to have the same look gloves and all as well...Thanks for sharing....great job!

Great list!! They were the perfect pair. I do think Audrey Hepburn’s black lace dress and mask and the white skirt suit with oversized white sunglasses from How to Steal a Million should be on the list though
As we are nearing thirty years of her passing, Audrey Hepburn still reigns supreme in my book. One of our legendary actresses and a trendsetter, Audrey personified beauty, grace, and fortitude. As I have felt emptiness when hearing about her passing in 1993, I am happy to recall memories of her to make me smile and hope to see her in heaven.
A year ago there was an exhibition in the Netherlands of the dresses by de Givenchy. The major dress in it was the one Audrey Hepburn wore- the black dress when Breakfast at Tiffany's start' s and she's eating a pretzel in front of Tiffany's. I touched it for a second ( it was't allowed, but.... you only get this chance once), and every time I hear Moon River I think of the time I got so close to this beautiful lady and how magnificent and unbelievable she was. It is a moment I will never forget.
My fav Audrey's outfit is not a dress. It's a black sweater, slim black 3/4 trousers, black flat ballerina shoes and enormoulsy big male-like black coat, when she visits Bogart in his office in "Sabrina". What a classy total look, ready to wear today as well!
Thank you for this video. A Way to keep the icons alive and fresh in people's minds. I just love Audrey Hepburn such a wonderfully great personality and Givenchi did the best job! Good video! Congratulations. And cheers! 👍
She wore some great things in “Two For the Road” with Albert Finny. Perfect for the time and perfect on Audrey. You know that you’re a fashion star when even your lipstick and perfume are mentioned in the credits as they were in at least one film which I recall.
I met Audrey Hepburn about 30 -35 years ago (I don’t remember the exact year) LOL, when she came to visit the NICU at Rainbow Babies and Children. She was very thin and elegant and she spoke briefly to me about the babies (I was a nurse in the NICU). Something I will always remember.

Great list!! They were the perfect pair. I do think Audrey Hepburn’s black lace dress and mask and the white skirt suit with oversized white sunglasses from How to Steal a Million should be on the list though
so darn beautiful
As we are nearing thirty years of her passing, Audrey Hepburn still reigns supreme in my book. One of our legendary actresses and a trendsetter, Audrey personified beauty, grace, and fortitude. As I have felt emptiness when hearing about her passing in 1993, I am happy to recall memories of her to make me smile and hope to see her in heaven.
Happy 94th birthday Audrey Hepburn🎉
Such great fashion! Love the iconic Tiffany's dress!
RIP Givenchy... :(
On a happier note, is there anything that doesn't look absolutely stunning on Audrey Hepburn? 😍😍😍
My fav Audrey's outfit is not a dress. It's a black sweater, slim black 3/4 trousers, black flat ballerina shoes and enormoulsy big male-like black coat, when she visits Bogart in his office in "Sabrina". What a classy total look, ready to wear today as well!
I loved her Book Store dress from Funny Face
Truly natural beauty - love her
My favorite wedding dress. Tea length for outdoors, unadorned but spectacular tailoring.
Audrey Hepburn
beautiful👍👍👍🌬️
Thank you for this video. A Way to keep the icons alive and fresh in people's minds. I just love Audrey Hepburn such a wonderfully great personality and Givenchi did the best job! Good video! Congratulations. And cheers! 👍
They forgot the beautiful dresses she wore in "My Fair Lady"! We miss you Ms. Hepburn. The world isn't the same without you. 💗
Those were designed by Cecil Beaton and this video is about Hepburn's collaboration with Givenchy.
She wore some great things in “Two For the Road” with Albert Finny. Perfect for the time and perfect on Audrey. You know that you’re a fashion star when even your lipstick and perfume are mentioned in the credits as they were in at least one film which I recall.
Audrey Hepburn is such a queen!!! It depressed me that I would nnever be as perfect as her :(
Florencia Machado I hear you perfectly 😢
And never be as beautiful as her
Florencia Machado She’s human; nobody’s perfect
@@clementine6276 she was skinny and looked like a man 🙄
Get a grip florencia
Her beauty is on par of the current generations. She is way ahead of her time
I met Audrey Hepburn about 30 -35 years ago (I don’t remember the exact year) LOL, when she came to visit the NICU at Rainbow Babies and Children. She was very thin and elegant and she spoke briefly to me about the babies (I was a nurse in the NICU). Something I will always remember.
I love her!
AUBREY IS SO BEAUTIFUL.
